Agreed. Hell, one of 'em is mine - I've got my Goldrim with 25% extra CA damage listed for 1.5ex. I don't really want to sell it - the thing boosts my damage by 1k on lower level maps where I don't need the extra evasion. OTOH, I guess I don't *really* need the extra damage on those maps either... The thing is, 1.5 ex would persuade me to part with it. Less than that and I'll just keep it.

Challenges progress, albeit slowly. I'm still short one 'easy' one, one grind, and one expensive one. Tormented thief is easy - if I ever find one. I could always spam Torment maps, I guess, they aren't that expensive. Zana is the grind. And the divination card one... I could afford to buy that one outright, but I've been running the appropriate maps in the hope that I pick up the cards in the wild, because the prospect of paying 5-6ex for three more rubs me the wrong way. :D

Thanks for the tip on Global 820, they've been a great help. Got my Tantalus through there yesterday night, just keeping an eye on it every minute or so.

PS: I've run nearly all the unique maps available now just for shits and giggles - the only one that really kicked my rump was the Hall of the Grandmasters. I got several layers in no problem, then I ran into some guy that I literally couldn't hurt at all. Probably has Chaos Innoculation, the pest. He murdered me for all 6 portals. :o

Yeah, CA can't do the Hall, for that reason alone. CI.

Zana's honestly not much of a grind either, at least not with the currency this build generates. /trade 820 to buy Zanas, /global 820 for free ones.

I got something like 300-500k in one day (4-5 hours playtime), including 60k from the rotation. Shouldn't take more than 3-5 days from the start of Zana 7 if you really press the issue with it. That said, you still have a month to just bank on rotations for now.

I got lucky with the Thief, got it while levelling. =D

If you need to force the ghosting, run Coves or a similar open area map (Mud Geyser's probably the best option). All you do for that is slowly walk through the map, picking off white and blue packs, and kite rares until you get near ghosts. Let the possession happen then fire away.

What cards do you have left for the div challenge?

I've already turned in Chaotic Disposition, Flora's, Gambler, and Lover. All the easy ones, of course. :)

You'll have better luck with Dapper Prodigy. I can't recall ever actually dropping a Hope.

Meanwhile I got four Dapper Prodigies in something like 10 Residence maps. It's significantly more common.

After I hit 35-36 challenges, I bought my way to 39... Divination Cards were my most expensive... I traded for Chaotic Disposition at value from Global 820... found Flora/Gambler/Lover, bought most of Vinia's token cards for 5-7c each... then it got expensive... except for REALLY expensive cards, all the relatively hard to find cards seemed to be priced evenly... few weeks ago a full set of any of them cost about 120c (divided by the number of cards needed)

Hope is so rare I'd say it didn't exist if I didn't know otherwise... I mean... it drops in T1 maps... I've run a ton of them normally, and then every vaal'd Carto Strongbox I've found in Labyrinth and Dried Lake/etc... 5-6 boxes worth... and plenty more besides when I was trying for other cards... and I'm sure most people in here have similar stories...

I can't seem to find the final skill tree for this build - actually, I've been winging it since about level 50; I'm 73 and my dps and life are nowhere near as advertised :p Can someone please share the scion final tree with me?

@wartcorker: by far the biggest DPS boost for CA is skill levels... Listed numbers about a dozen pages back... but I think I was lucky to hit 9k tooltip buffed at your level with the 5L setup (Was still using Increased AOE gem I think...)... reached 15-18k with the 6L empower 3 setup and 23-25k with the +3 instead of +2

@igor: Yes, it does, but there's no reason to take it. You get more benefit out of the additional arrow from Endless Munitions, which allows you to drop the AoE gem in favour of another damage gem, and you need all the Ranger Ascendancy points to get it.
