[outdated] Caustic Arrow Solo Map MFer (20/300+)
I won't say I all of a sudden like the Labyrinth... but I've done 10-15 runs in the past 90 minutes, and I really like today's layout, and portals/statues aren't bad, and I don't even mind poles/burning anymore (altho trying to ignore burning outside of izaro is a bit rough...)
I think part of it is being able to track my completion times on the ladder... got my time down from 6:33 to 5:15 with some luck... without whirling blades... just our regular gear + Seven League Step... thats 15th place on the ladder... dont think I could ever do 3 minutes tho(my 5:15 already includes SSD and --nosound) So far, only got totem enchant... still need aura/curse/trap (and 2 easier boot enchants i'll worry about later) Too bad life calls... hopefully get a few more runs in before reset... ... It's crazy how, after a while... the content on screen barely matters in the labyrinth... it just becomes UUU L UU door, UR UR UL UL door, Izaro, UR UR UR door, L UR UR UR exploit door, UR UR UR UR door, Izaro, UR UR UR UR door, DR UR DR UR UR UR door, UR DR UL UR DR UR UL UR DR UR UR UR door, Izaro, done... spam quicksilver and seething flasks throughout, use Blink Arrow on annoying checkered spike traps that try to slow you down (to clear 2-3 rows without getting skewered) UPDATE: finally made progress... got Aura and Curse enchants back-to-back... so now 9/12 done with enchants and 5/6 done with helm enchants... still no CA/Vuln/Flame Golem enchants tho... " I think the enchants system is completely inadequate right now, particularly for the helmet slots. There's so many skills available to get buffs for that it's incredibly difficult to get anything for it solo. In PSc there's only 15 rare helmets available with a CA damage enchantment. And most of them are shit, with a minimum price of 45 chaos. Enchants should be a bit more deterministic. Ie., equipped skills provide an additional 10% chance to receive an enchant for that skill. Or something. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

Equipped skills on character or?... Now that you mention it... I think it would be interesting if just skills equipped into the helmet itself had an increased likelihood of being enchanted for...
I havent even looked to buy enchants off of poe.trade... if I were to do something like that next league, I'd have to plan it from the start... because you generally need to craft onto a good base with the enchant you want... then probably compensate your resistances elsewhere with poe.trade depending on what you end up with... Getting a useable enchant before I'm done would just be a bonus really... one thing I've started to notice running the labs so much is the potential for recipes/currency gains... which I think someone mentioned before... I stopped ruining portals when I understood what they did today... so getting 2 keys in 6-7 minute runs and enchanting... getting 2 extra keys from chests every 5 runs or so... so about 22 keys per hour... the chests are basically strongboxes/perandus chests... getting a decent amount of jewelry and arcanist/artisan boxes... not bad really... as a perk... might get in on the enchant market a little bit next league... | |
I picked this up on poe.trade the other day for 40c. It was white with just the enchant. Used alts, augs and regal...no chaos spam. I think its worth a little more than I paid for it now.

aaaaand... after another 2-3hrs in Cruel Lab today (the only one with a good layout, since the gold key room can be accessed before door room...), I wracked up my 2 missing boot enchants... in all that time I enchanted every pair of boots I had in my sales tabs (making sure none would have their lvl req boosted to 42 of course)
I have to say... today in Cruel Lab I really saw how Lab running can be profitable... I was doing a run in about 6-8 minutes, so 7-8 runs/hr... and that was being able to leave fonts alive and usually all 3 liuetenants (a real race to finish Izaro before lieutenant reached cloud patch), and Argus was along the main route, so I was getting 4 keys in 7 minutes, making getting the 2 extra keys from chests at the end likely... and a LOT of the end chests are pure currency or jewelry... I think I collected several hundred whetstones/scraps for chisel recipe, about 100 trans/aug, and a decent amount of the rest... and even found some good jewelry to try and sell despite only being 55-57... Some runs I was getting 5-7c worth of currency in 7 minutes... seems competitive to map running numbers... when its a good layout... Now I just need another good Merciless Lab day to hopefully finish Helmet Trap enchant... too bad they fixed the door skipping trick since that made more layouts good... like yesterday's UPDATE: took about 14hrs to finish Lab Enchants... never got a build-improving enchant... unless you count Rallying Cry and Frenzy... one of which I don't use, and the other who's damage is negligible Last edited by Piros on Apr 22, 2016, 8:19:27 AM

Can someone tell me what are best enchants to get for this build? I haven't had much time to play labyrinth so I would appreciate some help.

Boots: 6% spell dodge when hit by spells recently.
Gloves: I like using Decree of Spite for the cold ground it emits when hit. Light and Reflection are also good options. Take your pick, but those are probably the top three for gloves. Helmet: Either Vulnerability effectiveness, or CA Damage / Radius. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.

"I'm a big fan of 6% more movement speed on boots if you haven't been hit recently too. Realistically, though, you might get enchants you like on your boots and gloves, but helmet isn't very likely. There's just too many options. Current league IGN: Teldra_Anc_LAD
Feel free to message me in game if I'm on. |

" Yep. At present there's only one CA MF helmet on the market in Perandus (2ex), and it's a pure ES base. (Searching for dual res, life, 20%+ rarity and one of either Vuln effectiveness, CA radius, or CA damage). There's none in Standard. There's no realistic way you're getting a CA MF helmet without either stupidly good luck, or a ridiculous amount of patience. If you want it done though, just buy a similar helm to the one you're using then spam the ever loving hell out of labs for a few days. Jul 27, 2011 - Sept 30, 2018.
