Because for 300+ pages, this has been a Ranger build.

BTW, I don't know if anyone mentioned this already, but did anyone notice that the 5/5 "projectile damage and pierce" nodes are now 5/8 in the 2.2 tree? (Assuming the JSON/PoESkillTree are perfectly accurate?)

Yep. Exactly, this is the first time where this build has gone to Scion.

And yeah I noticed that but it's irrelevant now, given Scion Deadeye gives us 50% pierce. We'll just save the point and head south through the 10 pierce > 10 proj > 30 pierce. Save a point, which would only net us 6% extra damage anyway.

I could probably get a forum admin to move this over to the Scion threads, but I'm pretty sure that results in a thread # change, which would kill a lot of bookmarks. So for QoL, it stays here, I would think.

So, in the OP you mention pulling the Andies for Atziri... any suggestions for what you would equip instead? Corals? Le Heup of All iron ring?

Would this build be easier(to gear? + do more dmg than srs MF ?

Also did OP play this build in Talisman? Would be really interested to see gear.

Well, if it helps any, I played this build in Talisman. It's been wickedly successful for me - despite taking a month off while on vacation. I've got a bunch of extra currency sitting in my stash, plus I used this build to finance a bladefall totem build and a bunch of other guys in my guild.

I never geared an SRS nor SRS MF toon, yet I understand that both can start with a 5L weapon with +2 to their respective mods (minions, bow skills). The rest of the MF pieces are exactly the same. Conclusion is quite sure to be very similar for gearing and 'take-off-point' between the two.

Once you get practiced at Atziri, you won't need to. But if you feel the need to, any rare ring with life. Heup would be an alright decision to get some damage if you want, but failing Atziri is mostly a result of lack of life or lack of experience doing it.

Gearing is about the same as SRS.

Clear speed is faster (and smoother) than SRS, but SRS has better single target damage.

My tali gear is basically identical to the Standard gear that's already in the OP. Self crafted bow, Carcass, dual andies, etc. The differences are minimal. Slightly better life, slightly better IIR in Standard, that's it.
