Since few weeks price prediction takes ages. As a developer I know that hosting stuff is not for free so pretty sure that servers are overloaded most of the time. I was thinking about possibility of self-hosting this solution - would that be possible? Then just change trade_macro to point to localhost, and boom - no longer I will be using your bandwitch.

I am aware of this. The network is jammed sometimes. We have taken actions to improve it. Notice that the first pricing will be slower and the subsequent pricings are faster in a time period due to how the tcp works.
Self-hosting is an interesting idea. It would require all the models to have a local copy with proper language support. I think the latter can be figured out. The model files are about 1G in total (zipped) and each model is updated about 3 hours. It might not be a good experience to have to download the model all the time... Trade wispier pricing does not work for me or am i doing sth wrong? I paste the whisper form pathofexile.com/trade and always get: The item is not available, or the Whisper text format is not right, or the format from poe.trade has changed. Send a message to me or post on the forum thread. | |

Hey, my guess is that the whisper text format might be changed. Give me some time to debug. Another reason could be: if the item is just listed, few white-listed websites can get the data faster, which means the item is not in our database yet.

Think server is down.
Our servers are overloaded and we have no resource to handle the traffic we are getting. This function is currently not available. We are looking for ways to improve and bring this function back. At the mean while, please use query single item function. Sorry about the inconvenience. |
