PvP 1v1 Blitz feedback + Suggestion

Hello, I would like to write down my thoughts of this events.

I have 24 rounds played and I only lost 2 matches (rank 20). I even won 2 times against rank 4 and 5. But they have 40+ rounds. So my thoughts about this event is that most people just rush enemy. Get killed instantly or die instantly, if you die you just get another match really fast and that way can get alot of points because you fight many matches.

I don't like this event because a person with 50% win rate can aquire more points than a person with 90% win rate.

My suggestion is to give players minus points when they lose. This way its more fun and you have to think about using tactics etc etc. instead of just rush to win or die.

a question to GGG. You wrote that we bring alot of Blitz events because it was popular in season 1. But in season 1 you only had 7/8 games total. Thats why it was so popular. Because each time you would win you would meet a stronger person and that way you would meet people at same skill lvl.

This event I got 2 threats in local chat because, I kited them and use traps etc. It ended up draw and they got really angry at me. As puncture user I won most of my games with patience because I wait till they run out of bleeding flasks and then I can kill them when they run out.

I dont agree with your points at all. Blitz is about fast match ups, fast kills, direct confrodation, trading blows in a quick succession, thats what made it so popular in alpha testing and in season 1.

If you dont like losing at all, and like to waste all the time just to get your win then thats a TIME problem you will have to solve on your own, since the whole event is just 20minutes and the format you are suggesting will just ruin all the fun and adrenaline of fast paced games that currently occur in blitz.

You can also wait for Swiss events where you have 12 whole minutes until next round begins and you can be as much patient you want to be without having to ruin everyone's else fun

Some builds are simply unable to faceroll all of the high dmg/high life meta builds. Some builds do require skill, technique, and time to earn wins (SHOCKING RIGHT?). I don't think this is his problem. He makes good points and those who die should be negatively rated, just like in the ranked ladder queue.
The problem is GGG intended for Blitz to be a casual game mode so that more people could participate and just bash each other and have fun. But...they've made it the primary focus of Season 2, which is ridiculous. I wouldn't get your hopes up about any changes to Blitz.
Lets take the guy with 47 rounds for example who got rank 4.

each match counts down 6 seconds, then it gives you full hp, mana es flask charges etc. then it counts down additional 3 seconds, then match is ready.

thats 9 seconds for every round and he had 47. thats 423 seconds and about 7 minutes of waiting before his matches begin.

So actually he fought people 47 times in a time frame of 13minutes.

13 minutes is 780 seconds. 780 divided by 47 is 16,5. So average he did a match in 16.5 seconds. My match against him took less than 5seconds, because I put 3 traps at beginning and he just quicksilver adrenaline face rush me and instant die from the traps.

I believe rank 4 had around 66 points. you get 3 points for every win. Rank 1 had 76 points for a scale.

If he had 66 points, I think it was even less. 66 points is 22 wins out of 47 rounds. That means he HAD a winning rate of LESS than 50%

I mean, this will end up as season 1 ffa. Blitz 1v1 gonna be all Facebreaker cyclone builds who rush enemy. I met melee guys who said in local while fighting: "JUST KILL ME ***** Hurry up to next rounds retard etc etc"

Its supposed to be fun, but its not fun getting threats from players when the match takes more than 20 seconds

You misunderstand me, I don't see a problem with people rushing, I don't lose to them and they are not overpowered. Rank 1 for example only did 26 runs. What I am trying to say that, you should give minus points to the people who lose a match. That way 50% of top 10 people wouldn't be of people who have less than 50% win rate
I want to change it so:

1 win = 3 points

1 draw = 1 point

1 loss = -1 point

That way the people with less than 50% win rate will still be able to go top 30, but not top 10.

I made this post because of all the threats I received in local chat, I am a bow user, why would I stay still and get thousands hits from melee chars?? Some of my other friends who uses bow also go threats from melee doing this event.

You think it's funny to play events when people thrashing you in local chat and just stand still and tell you to kill them because match took more than 20 seconds???

so people are begging you to kill them and you are complaining.

Just ignore them for the most part. If you think they overstepped report them.
