Yeah melee is so easy to be dominant right now, kinda bummed I decided to roll bow. Only people beating melee are better melee.

Didn't they nerf cyclone and molten strike?
I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

yep 10% and 15% respectively. I guess it's balanced now that a number has been applied to lessen the damage!

Tbh, i can´t see any improvements that were made the last few patches... The 3 most dominant builds, Tornado Shot, Ele Trappers and Cyclone, are still by far the best builds out there, but Tornado Shot got a nerf and is now in a rather mediocre spot and trappers got their damage nerfed (that was needed, no complains), but also their utility, by giving the ppl almost permanent freeze and chill immunity and halfing the duration of clever construction.
The only thing that happened to cyclone, a skill that makes you move while attacking everything 360°, gives stun immunity, breaks traps and gives you insane life gain on hit, was a 10% dmg reduction, which is, if you look at good cyclone builds, a complete joke. And now they announced that the majority of the matches in the new lld season will be "blitz" events, where you basically just have to rush up to your opponent and kill him as fast as possible.. it´s almost like they don´t want anyone to play anything but cyclone... But well, the season starts tomorrow, so we´ll all have to deal with it | |

" Oh my god I hadn't even thought of the connection yet. Cyclone breaks all traps, is the strongest melee skill, and the only counter is CC bear traps which is hardly an effective option against anyone else so it'll never become a new meta. Cyclone is going to be even more prevalent this season than last season with the event options. |

Nerfing cyclone hurts the only positive thing 2hers have. Nerfing swords/nodes is the proper call.
