that was my point
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them
so to summarize, there where three things that made bow-builds somewhat viable:

- Puncture
- Tornado Shot
- Traps

All three of them got nerfed. Also I'd like to point out that Tornado Shot does a lot less dps than cyclone, usually not one-shotting a well-geared char. 10% less dps on Tornado Shot hurts a lot more than on Cyclone, because if your standing in your opponent's cyclone, you're pretty much dead no matter what (at least if you use a bow and don't have block).

Did I miss something? Did bow builds perform that well in the tournaments that they deserved this? What is GGG trying to balance with this? Shouldn't torment/bloodlines be the focus of this season? I don't remember seeing any bow-builds in the top 20 of torment. In fact, everybody there seemed to be doing some flicker Cyclone build, Facebreaker Shield Charge or Freezing Pulse/Spark traps with molten shell in the mix.

Oh i forgot, they buffed Split Arrow by 10%, GG.
If this wassn't a joke, then i don't know what it was supposed to be. (Even if the buffed it by 30% i don't think anyone would use that skill)

Tornado is the only option because in PvP most people are moving. Traps are the only source of output vs most melee characters as a bow user because they flicker / whirling to close the gap and all you can do to survive is blink away and throw a trap on yourself.

You have to aim other attacks that directly leave the attacker against any moving target, the few times you land a hit with an estimated trajectory, they will usually have some kinda mitigation or block / evade / dodge.

Tornado makes up for not having to aim your projectiles at the cost of damage, it's fairly weak but it has a lot higher chance to hit from multiple projectiles going every direction.

I keep saying it's mechanically the only option but I honestly can't think of a fix for this issue. Other bow skills wont be seen that effective because of the nado shot mechanic. Traps can make other skills viable but for the same reasons, nado will have a much higher chance to hit.

Puncture is used for obvious reasons, has alright upfront damage than the dot for more damage or for panic / distraction reasons. Puncture at this point now will just be a flask check for bow users. lol
