The nerf is pretty bad IMO. Especially when Molten strike still insta gibs with fire flask and everything.

I would've thought that GGG would be reading these forums but apparently it's as if we don't exist, and GGG just talks to their balance team. Tons of complaints and joint opinions of how things should be run by both the LLD and HLD community, yet no response from GGG, no feedback from GGG, just a dev occasionally strolling by to answer some mechanical or technical question and that's it.
Sad to say but putting these forums were just a way for us to talk to one another but have literally zero influence on how the game is balanced. And what's funny is whatever balance changes happen are based on the minority (the noobs who shoot their mouth off at every little op skill, I'm looking at you flicker, without having any basis and without having any experience to back up their claims). | |

Pretty safe to say, that except for the trap changes, none of the balancing changes make much sense. The numbers seem to be so low, that you probably won't feel any difference anyway(except maybe for shield charge users).

Devs and Chris himself respond to reddit posts all the time, maybe we can take our collective feedback and upvotes to the poe reddit page to bring light to how little they're paying attention to feedback. Who the hell decided buffing spark 5% was going to make a difference? Or nerfing 12k dps molten strike down to ONLY 10.2k? I just don't understand this patch at all, did they just keep pulling 10s and 5s out of a hat for random skills?

The damage changes will have no effect I feel. Bows aren't dominant but nado is the only option because of mechanics, not because of damage. Season 2 will prob see the exact same builds.

Also IMO, buff Puncture in lowlevel(I don't play lowlevel alot, only on a semicasual level since a week ago) and it looks like it got nerfed too hard. Looking at other matches too, people rarely use them besides for trap and even then it's not fatal(except if you're stupid not dispelling it running like a headless chicken). No one in the invitational used it.
But I'll state that I am not an experienced LLD player, so I might be wrong but I'd like to see it buffed atleast a bit, but avoid to buff it to the old level of pre 1.3 It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

I personally think it's perfectly fine the way it is, it doesn't insta-gib you but people have been winning with them, but that's the opinion of someone who fights puncture, not uses it. | |
