Trigger Gems Balanced or not?

"
its funny because 2hand cyclone is not nearly as OP as facebreaker cyclone with trigger gems.

Well of course... 2handers can only use 1 trigger gem; Vengeance.

They don't have block chance so the other triggers dont work.

Three trigger gems is better than one. Not sure I got the point of that post.

Any reason why we can't have trigger gems have it's own internal cooldown, then be affected by your attack speed modifier similar to leap slam or whirling blades?

I don't feel a single trigger gem one shots me even coming from a facebreaker, but all of them proccing at the same time, similar to a lmp shotgun trap, is what one shots.

facebreaker characters dont usually have fast attack speed modifiers so their trigger gems SHOULD still have heavy hits, but have seperate cooldowns (you can pot between trigger gem procs) and won't be insanely fast (not op vs high aps guys).
I honestly don't even think that trigger gems were designed with pvp in mind at all. They were more likely added as a way to increase the damage output of melee builds in pve to make them more competitive with range.

But in PvP, Facebreakers or not, counterattacks seem like too much free damage. I also think their range is way too long - I shouldn't be getting counterattacked at all if I spectral or arc a Facebreaker from a few body lengths away! Again, their range was probably set with hitting packs of mobs in mind, not randomly whacking casters at long range in PvP.
Triggers don't add anything positive to LLD, they only have a negative impact. I can't think of any arguments that can convince me that there's a place for trigger gems in pvp.
