" Mind Drinker is better, as long as you keep killîng enemies. In boss fights you can't rely on killing adds, so then Mana Flows is better. Since boss fights are the fights where you need your mana, damage and defences the most, Mana Flows is more useful. Last edited by Reechaani on Feb 4, 2021, 4:40:24 AM

i don't get how vengeful commander is a good passive on the cluster jewel, since we don't use any of those auras?

Any ideas on what to improve on my build?

" We use Wrath in our Essence Worm ;-) | |
" Link your Arcane cloak with Arcane Surge, Second Wind Support and Flame Dash. That will make your Arcane Cloak get out of cooldown quicker. Your Clear Mind is useless if you use Vitality and Clarity. Remove Mind over Matter on your tree, you get it from your chest armor. Check if you still need the +30 dex node, since you have +39 on your gear. Adjust your path from the Witch start to take the intelligence nodes. The small nodes you're taking now seem nice, but give really low returns compared to the notables you could get on cluster jewels or other places. But tbh, I think Pledge of Hands is wasted on an Elementalist build. We use way to much gem slots on golems to really appreciate a 2nd 6-link. I would choose for an Ascendant (Assasin + Hierophant/Inquisitor and go crit route) or a Hierophant if I were using Pledge. Also your Cinderswallow and Bottled Faith synergize better with a crit based Ascendant. Your gear is decent, so the next step would be the big bucks upgrades that will cost a fair amount of exalts. Omeyocan might be a nice option for you; I went that route and quite like it. Great cluster jewels are always worth it if you can get the good ones. Get a Watcher's eye with 2 nice mods if you have the exalts for it (or even 3 mods if you did really well this league). Last edited by Reechaani on Feb 4, 2021, 11:11:41 AM

" Thank you! What about Life? I feel like having only 2.8k Life is too low. And I have that Clear Mind jewel because of the mana regen. Last edited by TwuTu on Feb 4, 2021, 11:28:43 AM

" 2,8k Life with a Healthy Mind jewel sounds about right. 40% Mind over matter boosts your eHP quite a bit, and the Agnostic will take care of smaller hits. You can always swap around some gear/crafts/passives to boost your life, but you'll never get 5k+ with this build (and you don't need it to survive). It appears that you can still boost XP from contracts. I have not done enough testing or research to confirm for certain but I plan on running more level 83 tunnels or repository contracts tonight. Ran one last night, was at 15m xp per hour but only did two trips through, currently at level 94.
Running these with no mods is a pretty safe way to get XP, no bosses and no weird stuff popping up to one shot you. Last league I ran them to get from 96 to 98 and while it was a slog it was fairly quick and very safe in comparison to just running maps. I think the average XP per contract was around 20m but I deleted my notes. You open all the reward rooms and then trigger the alarm at the end, run back and forth through it about three times going back into each room to kill the monsters that spawn. Eventually they stop generating XP so you have to watch for that to know when to exit. If you get dangerous monsters spawning then just exit and start with a new contract. |

" Have you considered running T15 beachheads for exp? They gave me around 7-8% exp per map at lvl94. I'd usually get enough ancient shards to cover the map, the rest being profit (across like 6 maps). |

Ended up trying lots of things including swapping to the staff version of the build using Pledge of Hands.
The damage on the staff build is almost ludicrous with crit, but it is extremely annoying to play with how you get stuck in place, it also is way more susceptible to just getting insta-killed if you overspend your mana. Much harder to play in general and just not as fun. Oddly enough my skill tree has almost fully migrated to mimicking Enki's in its entirety, I dropped a couple of the life nodes to reach other things first, but plan to probably grab them next, as for the Agnostic, I really don't like playing with permanent Righteous Fire and I think the trade off isn't worth it for the life regen when it hits mana regen so unbelievably hard. Leyline gloves definitely help with mana sustain, though you'll never actively notice them, they definitely keep your mana topped off more often than not. I've come to hugely respect Enki's design in this entire build as after experimenting with so much I'm essentially following it exactly now, and it's my favorite way to play Arc Elementalist out of all of them. The main differences I support are: 1. Omeyocan provides a ton of survivability and I highly recommend them if you can have enough resists from other items 2. I changed up my flasks a bit and instead of a life flask I'm running Atziri's Promise for the extra damage, leech, and choas resist, and since Omeyocan provides onslaught I drop the silver flask for a Quartz Flask. I do not recommend doing this until you have a jewel with the implicit: Corrupted Blood cannot be inflicted on you 3. If you have the gear to support it, Healthy Mind is a huge damage boost that feels really hard to live without in high tier boss fights With those changes I can run pretty juiced T16 maps with little risk of death as long as I don't completely screw up and bosses feel pretty easy as long as you occasionally just go into dodge mode when your mana drops too low. The only remaining thing I want to play around with is maybe changing the cluster passives a bit, currently running Disorienting Display and Scintillating Idea on my Large and I like them a lot. Running Mindfulness on one small cluster and Openness on the other, not sure which feels better at this point and I need to look into other ones that could provide different benefits. Just hit 94 today and am no longer really afraid when I start getting higher XP of just losing it all. I have not done any of the true endgame bosses A8 Sirius, etc. with my current setup but I'm excited to get there and try them. |
