Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page

For the people having trouble with mana.

1 - Get som nexus gloves, you will lose dmg but with the mana potion that enki is recommending, i can spam arc with out any problems.

2 - chill on the cast speed. if you have to much cast speed you will do less dmg, since you proberly will run out of mana. So even if you get less damage by removing cast speed, you will gain dmg since you will cast more arcs. Hence you dont run out of mana anymore.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST. I see alot of people linking gear in their comments, and then saying they have 4.5k HP. Alot of you guys are lieing about your max HP. By just looking at the maximum life you got on your gear. I can tell that you dont have 4.5k hp. So if you dont keep your pots op at all time, YOU WILL GET SMASHED. TIP. GET MORE LIFE. Having 4-5m dmg and under 4k hp is useless in endgame. You per automatic do less dmg since you are running around trying to survive and not casting arc. Simple..
4.5k HP is useless if you're not burning things down fast enough, at endgame everything will go through that number anyway. Get The Agnostic, invest in damage and melt things before they kill you.
I noticed a big increase in survivability with a) Cloak of Defiance and b) Omeyocan boots in combination with a Quartz Flask (drop Silver Flask). This made me breeze through T16 maps, even Elder/Shaper Guardians, Legion encounters (Generals), Harvest plots and all this hard-hitting stuff doesn't 1-hit as often anymore.

Before doing that I switched to The Agonstic and as much mana as possible. Atziris Promise and Rumi's Concoction help as well. Get rid of the Life Flask. The Agnostic takes care of it. Of Staunching isn't really necessary as well.

A Watcher's Eye with Increased Mana Recovery while affected by Clarity also helps.

But the most important part of this build is: keep moving! Don't stay longer than half second in one place. If you aren't dashing then simply run around. Cast -> move, cast -> move, cast -> move. On bosses if you see a window to burn them for several seconds then keep stationary of course.

3,4k HP // 9.5k Mana

Not exactly sure about the configuration. Are you guys using some baseline for that? Depending on configuration I'm between 4.5 and 6m Sirus dps

Some notes:
* I'm debating on replacing that Watcher's Eye with one that increases damage taken from mana before life for even more HP. However, unsure about the loss in mana regen. Still missing mana regen on my boots.

* Also Orb of Storms isn't really needed anymore since my Arc crit chance should suffice for proccing EO. However, I do like my Culling Strike. Cluster jewel or gloves come to mind.

* Using RF only sometimes. Mostly Vaal RF though for quickly burning bosses.

* Considered BuckFutter9 5th Golem with Anima Stone. Could work, not convinced yet, though.

* Mindfulness vs Scintillating Idea. As of now I much prefer Mindfulness. Yes, I just said keep moving, however, when casting Arc you are standing still for a little bit and then mana regen kicks in immediately. This is highly subjective of course.

I have about 3k life but 9 or 10k of mana with Agnostic and the various damage taken from mana options. The damage is plentiful and map clear is not an issue at all. The main difference I see is in boss fights, rituals, heist doors, and other instances with large amounts of incoming burst. There just isn't enough mana sustain or block chance to survive one big hit or a bunch of small ones. With the Necro build you could get block capped and the mana regeneration was sufficient to allow for significant sustained damage while also having enough mana to absorb the hits that didn't get blocked. While we are not given a report when we die I don't think more life is going to help, 1.5k additional life just isn't that much, so my intent is to transition to a build that has more block chance, better mana regeneration, and other defenses. First I am going to get a pair of the 30/30 gloves to see how much that helps. When I moved a bunch of points from life to damage it actually helped survivability during clear in T16 maps and now it's only bosses and other bursts that lead to death.

This is something I want to try as well but I'm so often low on mana I don't know how well it will work.

I agree that Staunching is often not needed but have not tried running without a life flask.

I import Enki's PoB to get the settings and then my build on top of that.

Culling is really nice, have mine on a cluster, tried it first with the golems and it wasn't so good. Would love to find a ring or gloves so it works for all, on the cluster it is only against cursed enemies, but hard to do and also get resistances.

RF use = rippy, I run it when I don't care about dying and just want to plow through maps.

I think it works well, helped both with damage and survivability.

I am using Openness, +30 base mana and 20% increased mana, also have one with Mindfulness but even that extra regen doesn't seem to help but I am goign to try it again.

Hi, could you guys take a look at my character WrednaHera (https://www.pathofexile.com/account/sony/view-profile/WrednyPigeon/characters)?
Do you have any idea how to improve my witch? Im focusing now on lab enchants, better weapons (more mana) and got 2 pairs of gloves with culling strike but i have to Harvest them. I have around 4-5 ex atm. thanks in advice!

You are on the right track, the lab enchant on the boots would be my primary goal.
Hi, I'm currently sitting at around 3.5m dps and thinking how to improve my character further. Can you suggest an upgrade path?

Also wondering if I should spec into Pledge of Hands crit arc with cluster jewels. Do you think it's worth?
Hey all, I happened to get a random unique drop and wondered if it wouldn't be useful for this build.

Would obviously need to spec out of dual wielding and maybe into some shield nodes instead, but would it be worth it? Seems like it could bump damage up significantly, but I'm unsure exactly how difficult it would be to maintain mana with this.

I think that shield has potential in some bizarre build, but I don't see it working for this one. Unless there is some kind of internal cooldown on it, we are simply casting spells way too often to be able to capitalize on the massive hits it could provide us--imagine going down to 0 mana every time you flame dash!

I got a Pure Talent jewel and socketed it according to the path of building (next to Mystic Bulwark) but its not providing the scion buff like it claims it should. Am I missing something?
