Might not need corpses, but regen is going to hurt. Essence Glutton is insane, especially when paired with Kitava's Teaching.

" Truth, mana regen is going to need significantly more investment without the Essence Glutton/Kitava's Teachings engine. Mastermind of Discord will help, but it's no substitute. I'm sure Enki knows how to build around it. I'm pretty sure he went Archmage with the old Elemancer tree. Righteous Decree and Dreamer or example would at least make it easier to function without end game gear.

Found an Empower early in Act 6. I'm using a 5L chest with all blue sockets, and added Elemental Focus to the Arc setup (since I still had it from early in levelling). Should I color one of the sockets red so I can use the Empower until I'm ready for a real 5L or 6L setup?

Can anyone tell me why the couple gems with the note of do not level past 1 is a requirement? I'm new to the game and accidently leveled them a few times and I haven't noticed anything going wrong with the build. Does anyone know what it's all about?
