GGGs reasoning on not making a SFL?

I thought SFL meant "Self Found League", which is different from "Solo Play". You can play self found in parties and on the other hand you can trade and still be soloing. You guys are really confusing with your "SFL" concept.

I thought SFL meant "Self Found League", which is different from "Solo Play". You can play self found in parties and on the other hand you can trade and still be soloing. You guys are really confusing with your "SFL" concept.

One of the issues with SFL is that you can define it a hundred different ways. If one way were to be implemented, you would still see only a fraction of a faction satisfied.

I figured solo play was what he was referring to. I also should have corrected him on what you just said. SFL does not necessarily equal solo play. All self found means is that you found it yourself and did not trade for it.

Its true there are a few different variations floating around but its not as bad as people sometimes make it out to be. If GGG made ANY SFL I think a lot of people would be happy.

Hell it would be nice if GGG would finally make the paid leagues they talked about so people could just make a few good ones.

Yeah he forgot to mention that they would force everybody to play in it, or otherwise chris wilson would personally find out where they lived and go and beat them up with a nailed bat...

The idea you suggest that people would quit if they made another type of league is absurd, i don't like playing hardcore in this game since i study, and the prospect of losing progress and have to start over is simply not something i want to deal with so I play mostly softcore, I don't on the other hand quit the game because they make a hardcore league every 4-6 month. likewise the people who only play hardcore doesn't quit because ggg made anarchy/rampage or whatever....

Why do people oppose the idea that expanding the amount of choices for people is worse, because you split the community even further? could it be that some people don't wanna play because they are forced to play in only 2 ways? one at a clear disadvantage if you want to compete in any way...

Don't try to be logical about it. Some people just can't stand the idea of a league being made that they aren't interested in and don't want GGG to work on for whatever reason.
