Very happy to read about the change to the remove-cosmetic micro item.

This is a terrible idea. The possibillity of resetting all one's skill points would effectively kill the replayability of the class.

If changed, they would make the same mistake that Blizzard did from D2 to D3.

Now that I think of it I must agree with you. I dont want to make one character ever and respec it whenever I feel like it. Let's not go Diablo III's way. We know where that ends;-) It was just a silly idea off the top of my head. Thanks for your comment:)

Wow respect to this guy, most people would argue a point to death even if they felt they were wrong, this dude has a good head on his shoulders. IMO

Oh stop it;) /giggles
Thanks btw:)

Chaos Inoculation now grants no additional energy shield bonus. Its complete immunity to chaos damage, synergy with Blood Rage and other skill combos are deemed sufficient upside to counteract the life penalty.

So, is the "tumor" that gives some +6%ES nodes and +30% more or +40% more ES still there? Or not?

The new player resistance penalties are 0% on Normal, -20% on Cruel and -60% on Merciless difficulty. Chaos resistance is now included and the same penalty applies to it.

This still feels like a quick fix to a broken mechanism. The problem is in the %. Because of the % you need a hard cap (in my humble opinion a sign of bad design) and a custom penalty rule (again a sign of bad design) I hope this will be fixed during open beta.

Question:
An extra charge is possible due to quest rewards. This means that we can go up to 7 charges at a time? That would be great?

In the end great work GGG. I really like the progresss of POE.

I have a suggestion - a perfect item to sell in microtransactions shop. A Greater Orb of Regret - grants 10 respect points and a Perfect Orb of Regret - refunds all skill points. Don't know about you guys but I would definitely be buing them:):):)

Before I played the game I was pretty unhappy about not having the ability to reset my skill points.

Now that I've played the game I agree with you completely, it would gut the replayability. I think the way the devs did it is terrific. I came to the beta late so I only played a few builds. Thinking about other things I could do with a witch or templar is pretty exciting.

I don't want the devs to change the respec system at all.
Am I reading this correctly?

There will never be another character or item wipe...

So I can play my character from Open Beta when the game is fully released? He will be the same level and everything when the game is released?

Thats correct!
Update the passive skill tree calculator on the website to represent the new one.
