Almost..if you consider the 4 month leagues racing then yes you are right. To experience the game in the most balanced and pure form you have to go the 4 month leagues. Oh and sorry if you don't like temporary leagues.

Wow did they really lower defences on shields? This makes shields entirely useless now since Dual Wielding was always so much stronger

No, I don't think so. I personally estimate, that they will be buffed by 1,25 if the cost was increased to 1,5.

BTW I have preliminary respec for my main, but I assumed, that using 20 lvl RM and taking 2x5% reduced reservation from tree, I will be able to put Grace, Determination and Hatred in my mana pool. No I know, that I will not be able to do so, even taking 4x5% reduced reservation.

On my second bet, I was using only Grace, Hatred and TS and have half of mana free. Now I will be unable even to use only Grace and Hatred, as I need mana to run my skills. I would need 6 point to get to Duelist reduced mana point and it still gives me mere few point of mana free.

Seems it was unnecessary to buy more tabs recently... it's grouping and trading time, solo self-found is killed.

I have a question, I am witch and I wanna use reduced mana reserved passives but how do I do that when none is close to my tree?!?!

I mean ok you wanna put auras reservation to 60% but then give us some passives for that.

I am CI i can't use blood magic. And i did calculation to run 2 auras and clarity i would need 4000 mana which i obvisouly won't get.

Congratulations and cheers to everyone at Grinding Gear Games!!!!

I can't wait to begin again. New tree, new talents, hopefully some great new builds.
PoE will once again be new and unique, even when compared with the beta version. That is the main theme I get after reading the patch notes.

I'm not sad about the possibility of my old characters and their current builds becoming obsolete. After several 80+ characters I'm ready to start new, and hopefully it will feel like I'm playing a new game. I think it will.

After reading through all 76 pages (as of writing this post) of comments, I have to shake my head at some rather nasty responses to information about the upcoming release.

However, One post caught my eye by pointing out the one problem that sticks out, at least to me, with the game.

I think this is exactly the change to items PoE needs, and hope the developers at GGG at least see this idea.

The point is that GGG wants to make the game better. They want to balance the game and not have every build using the same 3-4 skills 4-7 auras 4 or so curses etc. Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omlet.

I also like how you state as a matter of fact that solo play is not not viable. Especially when you Don't even fully know how much the aura effects have been increased etc. And as for not having enough resists? Please if you are claiming that not running purity will make it impossible to max resists then that just shows you 100% don't know what you are talking about.

Purity is a pretty insane aura, Some people run it JUST for the +max resists & they dont even care much about how it actually provides resists, thats how OP it is =P

these clowns have no idea how to balance a single thing in the game, they should leave it up to the players

Leave it up to the players to balance the game????? hahahahah don't make me die from laughter. If players balanced the game and it was only them. Then stuff would be more out of wack between all the different levels of players. Plus what each player thinks is best is very different.

Play the game first then give feedback. If BloodMagic truly is stronger than its ever been. Then they know what the hell they are doing.

i like the update idea, and most of it's content....

but the truth is:

lucky guy that dropped kaom = guy + 500(or more) ex
unlucky guy = unlucky guy

i dont want be offensive, but please! dont make lucky guys be more lucky!

maybe it's because of my personal feelings, but after 1-2 years of playing i would like to have something too :(
