Hi mate, thanks for checking out the build and glad you like it. However I must warn you that this build is not an easy facetanking build like RF - it requires good player skill and comfort with EV to really work well.

If you have played old EV bow or old EV ST (old as in before point blank abuse) you will understand the playstyle of this build.

For leveling - lightning strike works great, but you will need Ungil's Gauche at the start and then to buy/craft your own rare ele dagger intermediate before you get one for end game. Unfortunately there are not a lot of intermediate unique ele weapons you can use for leveling. Wake of Destruction you can use starting from early, but once you hit level 70 and start adding the other end game uniques the build really starts to become strong.

I know it requires much more skill than a RF build, that's what I'm lookin' for, a different playstile far away from a passive/facetank RF, some that requires me to stay focus on the game, u know. I assume that you can get one-shoted pretty easily. But I think this builds combines pretty well the clearspeed and the endgame bosses. I mean, can do everything.

Thanks bud, aye lightning strike is pretty awesome :). Thanks for checking out the build and hope you enjoy it. If you have any questions feel free to ask, and ofc feel free to customize as you see fit - if you read some of the prior pages you can see a few customizations people are trying.

I am by no means a pro on this build - I wish I had better skill as my deaths (Shaper, Uber Atziri, HOGM) are just from stupid mistakes / playing risky. Unfortunately I can only play 2-3 hours every weekend - so someone with better skill and more time to practice can do even better xD.

Got a quick question regarding the gear, what can replace the shield? It's super expensive now since the drop rates got nerfed.

Thank you for this build. Lightning Strike is a fantastic skill, and there is no need to swap gem before bosses !

I am facing issues with survivability. I actually have a 6L Belly and 4.3k life (lvl 90). Estimate chance to evade attacks = 36%.

I think the best way to improve my survivability is to change my Belly for a Triumphant Lamellar (hybrid EV/AR because of socket colors). I should reach something like 2400 local EV on this body armour. What do you think about this change ?

Hi bud, you will have to use an EV shield with life and res, and then start getting accuracy on your other gear. E.g. Hinekora's Sight amulet, Obscurantis helm, if you don't have thunderfists yet maybe use a rare glove with some accuracy and then put Wake of Destruction on your boots. You may need to get some accuracy clusters as well - there is a good one just below Acro, and another good one by Shadow that also gives crit chance.

Hi bud nice gear, you need to get more flat life - if you can try and get some of the new jewels and put flat life on them that would help, otherwise just put % life on as many jewels as you can on the tree.

I think doing this and keeping the Belly on would be better.

I can't see your tree - are you speccd Avatar of Veil since you use VOV? Maybe try dropping VoV for an Atziri flask and then spec Chase instead of Veil

You have to replace it with EV shield, and you can get accuracy from other places. You can even get accuracy from EV shield itself (can roll up to +400), from rings, amulet, from unique items (like Obscurantis helm), from passive tree. If you can get two items with high accuracy (say +350 shield and +350 ring) - I think you should be fine. If you can get only one such item - accuracy cluster should help (but that would cost about 3 passive points).

i customized the build a bit as you can see, not the bis yet but it works well

ive added molten shell-cwdt because i had extra sockets left and needed a bit more survivability also enduring cry for endurance charges on the go for my immortal cry-cwdt setup

at 4.7k 50% evade i was getting one shotted in tier 11 maps too much

also didnt go opal because of the cost and lack of resist on them. i have enough dps anyway

running 2 life flasks because during boss fights i tend to run out quick (dont move around enough, used to play a zombie-srs...)

didnt put my auras in my gloves because of mana issue (couldnt cast lightning strike anymore) that level 18 added lightning damage to gems was too mana hungry

same for support gems for minions and totem. couldnt cast my minion

cant seem to find a better dagger that doesnt cost 5 exalted

is it decent? i cant really tell i think its mediocre
