Abyss Questline bugged

Same, but on a different part where I can just reopen the failed map after full clearing the map prior, then I get my point and progression. But I am worried about what will happen when the final part of the chain asks to go to the depths, which will not exist if the abyss does not spawn.

Died in the Dark Depth, Northern Wound is no longer accessible (map boss was killed before entering the depth). Locked out of Abyss progression as well.

Same issue different part of the quest


Quest: Abyssal Power (second quest in the chain)
Objective: Close the southern Abyssal Wound

Issue Summary
When entering the map for the “Close the southern Abyssal Wound” objective, the map loads normally but no Abyss spawns anywhere on the map. Only the map boss appears. Because of this, the quest cannot progress.

Apparently, the only solution i found is to run the map first time -> kill boss -> exit the game -> respawn in hideout -> run a new waystone -> kill the boss.
It just gave me the point and quest progression for killing the boss

This is due to the passive abyss skill balance of power if you choose one of the factions. When choosing this skill, the abyss stopped appearing altogether.
