The atlas notable "Balance of Power" was the problem for me. Once i changed it to "Any Faction" and ran a new map, the abyss spawned after I started clearing monsters.

first map for the northern abyss wound chain didn't spawn an abyss and can't progress up the chain

I started a map for the abyss quest line and i died on the boss before attempting the abyss mechanic. After my death whole map got cleaned exept for the boss. Now when i restart the map i cant put abyss in the map anymore so i cant progress. Also now the game dont let me start any other map of the abyss zone "You do not have the required quest state to access this map".

Like you can see the map is complete but i dont have the point and the right to progress further.

same map fortress bug doesnt spawn abysses tried it 4 times so far

Same prolem here. Have opened probably around 10 maps now and the abyss doesnt even spawn in the map so no way to progress the questine..
