The gameplay is still really bad. Itemization is still really bad. Balance is still really bad. I don't think anyone would argue that the game is ready for 1.0. There are no new ARPGs with hype coming out in the next few years so GGG still has time to work.

Having in-game build planners is really going to help players find builds that aren't awful to play but it's going to take a few months for people to set everything up. The game will both turn casual *and* be much better to play as time goes on.

I would say it is actually very meaningful. When some long term poe 1 players are considering not even trying the new poe 2 league.

Anyone feeling the same? I have absolutely zero hype for it though. I disagree with almost everything they are adding/doing.

I am not going to list feedback because it does not really matter. The devs have their own vision. I hope people have fun though. Certainly some will really like it.

fair, but its not devs fault. Consoles have been ruining gaming industry for like 2 decades now. now every game is designed around limited buttons and aiming capabilities due to controllers being a thing

I'm here only for the free MTX. I had fun in the earliest versions of PoE2 but it's become less fun each league for me. Last league I only did the free MTX from Act 1 as well.

PoE1 is one of my favourite games of all time, but what I enjoy is the weird niche mechanics like heist, delve and blight. I keep hoping for something similar in 2 but it keeps not happening, Oh well. It's not a bad game, just not for me.
Died to A1 boss 26 times (between solo and groups).. Yeah, no reason to come back to this game. I get it, you want to make it challenging.. Cool, but I value my time more than I value trying or bothering to level in this, just to grind maps after.

I mean, some people like a challenge and the game for them is about overcoming different challenges. Some people like 1-shotting things and steamrolling to end game and complaining there's nothing to do. And some are in between.

If you died to one boss 26 times you need to approach the fight in a different manner or not expect different results. Or play an easier game, that's okay too.

By the way this is not why I dislike poe 2. Poe 1 is way too easy. There should be some challenge.
Tried 0.5 for 3 mins after doing act 1 for the cosmetics in 0.4 and ditching. Can confirm it's still bad.

I went from excitement and huge support in 0.1 to thinking this isn't even worth a minute of my time as each patch made the game worse. They keep thinking adding new content is the thing to do instead of fixing the broken foundation.

Actually they're not thinking. They're just doing, uh, something. God knows there's no rhyme or reason to most of the balance changes. At least not if you assume making a fun game is part of the desired outcome.
