Oh it gets worse, they also nerfed enegy shield this patch.

And made deflection chance capped. It is now just rng. which makes evasion stacking a bad defensive layer

basically EVERYTHING got nerfed


AFAIK it was capped anyway no? Fairly certain they said you'd be able to get 100% when they announced it but when it was actually put in the game everyone found out you couldn't cap it. I've seen the graph with a comparison to old vs new values and I think it looks pretty solid as buffs go.

But I still wouldn't use it (personal preference more than anything) :p, they need to add a node that lowers its effectiveness but lets you get it to 100%.

They bopped my boy sorcery ward is a bigger concern, makes my league starter easier though.

What he said made complete sense to me, and i saw another comment saying the same thing
Devs and designers are busy putting more bloat to the game.
Balance team are balancing the game around vibes, collecting feedback only from streamers and steam forums, probably. I genuinely don't understand what they've been doing for the last 5 months. Playing Bingo in the office? It feels like they started to make those changes just couple weeks ago.

After reading the "balance" changes I am convinced they made these randomly. They don't actually understand any of this.

Meta completely untouched btw.
