Campaign Skipping

Hello GGG, first of all thank you for your contributions to gaming! I began playing PoE2 in the Early Access Launch and this is by far my favourite game at the moment. I’d like to raise a suggestion (that has probably been raised before) around Campaign skipping. I understand that the league start requires all players to play through the campaign in full as a means to give everyone fair grounds, but my question is this. Upon completion of first playthrough (finishing 3 interludes and arriving in the Ziggurat Refuge, can it trigger a state in which any character moving forward can campaign skip? This would be an amazing QoL feature. To be clear I do NOT want campaign skipping for First playthrough on league launches but I don’t understand why we couldn’t after completion of first playthrough. I think this would encourage many players to multiple play throughs with different classes were this to be implemented. With that being said, I LOVE this game and hope that we continue to see success over the coming years, cheers!

I personally enjoy the lack of campaign skips. After the first playthough you can speed up your alt playthrough with leveling uniques and practice. I'm glad GGG remains firm on this aspect of the game.
I thoroughly enjoy the first campaign run in league launch, however I’ve played at least 3 characters per league and find by the third that I wish I could skip through campaign to test the endgame viability of a character. I think they’d see much higher rates of retention (not that they care so much compared to players returning) if they implemented it as an option. Would love to understand the logic of it being harmful to the game in any way if they disagreed

Yes you can speed up with twink gear but I have to ask, what do you gain by clicking water levers again, moving the caravan to get off to talk to get back on to blow a horn to get back off again?

What is the value in repeating it when many oppose it? Would it not be a better solution for all to allow an alternate leveling path for those who want to use it and for those who want to keep redoing the campaign can do that as well?

After first completion each league, the alternate would open up and give people the option. Some want to click water levers. Some want to just kill monsters and get stronger without having to talk to 1000 NPC's.
Bump for GGG to see
They wont even entertain this anymore, stop making these posts.. I cannot stress it enough THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN.
whats the point?

second chars got gold, unique items etc so campain is getting rushed quickly.

It takes like 4-5h to do on a reroll. every HackNSlash games works this way, no need to change it now because the new gen cant repeat something :(
I think they made it pretty clear more than once that campaign skips won't happen.
Jesus people when will you learn that is never going to happen?

And the vast majority of the playerbase hates the mandatory campaign hoops.

The problem is that for campaign enjoyers such as yourself, you can always spend more time to play the campaign. Nobody's stopping you. But for people who have a life, it's hard to justify spending 6-8 hours AGAIN for nothing.

I've made a post with a nuanced take on the subject if you care to read it. A 10 minute read shouldn't be a problem for campaign spammers such as yourself who spend hours doing the same exact thing over and over again.

Nuanced take on campaign skip :
