Campaign skip

"
Even if they did (they wont) add a campaign skip after you completed it once a league.

Ye, I have a feeling the will add it in this way. And I think this is where all "Interludes" will actually go (they already said they "know" how to use interludes after releasing Acts 4, 5). This route will be more direct with less quests, but it still will take a lot of time to level up there from 1 to ~65. What they will never do is superfast leveling like in causal disasters called D3/D4.
I could see them doing something like WoW did where everything scales and you can pick your flavor. I guarantee act 2 will almost never be completed if there was another option.

I certainly don't think that's a good thing for the game though.
+1

I won't mind even if it has a condition such as clearing campaign with any classes will only make you able to skip campaign just for that classes. (e.g. cleared campaign with warbringer -> can skip campaign on any newly created warrior only in case you want to build Titan or Smith of Kitava)

I know we have ascendancy switching now but some people want to keep their built characters organized than keep respec the same character over and over.

Problem is not with skipping but with offering an alternative. You can't start mapping with lvl 1 char. And they 100% won't let you to create lvl 60+ chars.

You can. It just need to be balanced around your character.

This is the shittiest design in ARPG ever.
A1: "Would you like to ally your hero with the embodiment of Sin, or do something else?"

A2: "Want to help a caravan of slavers, or nah?"

A3: "Feel like a long time travel adventure so you can save the life of Aztec Dr. Mengele, or want to just dick off in the woods for a while instead?"

I'd typically agree that skipping the entire campaign and starting at level 1 in maps that scale to whatever level you are is complete shit in an ARPG, but at this point anything's better than what they're calling a story.

Level scaling content is already in the game. It simply needs to be applied to some sort of map system, "cow level", or alternate leveling system. Then the campaign player awards like resist, stat points, etc can just be awarded at specific level intervals. It is really not that complicated to be honest. All the assets are already there.

No one serious is asking for a free lvl 60 character. We are asking for an alternate leveling path that we can just have fun with killing monsters and leveling up to get stronger without having to do all the talk quests, water levers, move the caravan to talk to get back on to blow a horn to get back off to talk to get back on stuff.

Thats the beauty of an optional alternate leveling path. Want to do the campaign? go for it. Want to do the alternate leveling path? go for it. It is a win win. And serious people talking about this are not asking for free lvl 60 characters or to be able to do it on league start. Full campaign completion for first league character would still be mandatory to keep the market as is. After that there is no trade effect. The person who stays on one character is farming top end maps for the highest drops while the second player gets to enjoy leveling up without all the nonsense talking quests. The one character player is always going to have more currency than the one making the alt. So again, trade is not an excuse.
GGG, could you at least add some kind of group finder so that you could team up and rush the campaign a bit faster? I know that there is a menu to find groups, but it feels like something made in the early 2000s, lol.

Make the group finder more accessible!
