why do people compare bow vs crossbow? crossbow is a TWO hands weapon, so compare it vs
bow+quiver
main stats are equivalent if compare 2 hands - %inc phys , flat phys
so bow+quiiver have not just more crit but more raw phys damage also because of quiver stat "#% increased Damage with Bow Skills" up to 59%
and + crit chance, and + att speed (almost double)
the only thing crossbow has more is flat elem damage (60 light , 30 cold, 30 fire)
so for 2 hands bow+quiver has WAY more raw damage.
not sure what is the logic to reduce only flat damage for bow (phys and elem) but not %inc phys and mixed acc+phys, crit, att speed.
im not sure where you read about a bow that only requires one hand to be operated. perhaps i need to rewatch all the bow videos beacause im pretty sure you need TWO hands in order for the bow not to be just a curved stick
It was an abyssal Omen or an Essence (I forgot which one exactly), but one of those categorized bows in the 1H category and the crossbow into the 2H category. Because you can wear a quiver in the "offhand" (I know it's wrong, but the game does handle it that way). Haven't played for two weeks now and I don't have time now to search for exactly which one it was.
Edit: Wasn't it the perfect essence of battle?
Let's end the ton of conversations about Crossbow of-hand gear, it doesn't lead anywhere. Logic, mathematics, physics or history of RPG is clearing supporting this idea just as bows. Implementing it or not is another story of Devs good/bad will and their future plans about poe2. Clearly is stupid to punish specific type of classes that can't even reach 0.5% as chosen in current Leagues. I'm refer about Tactician and GL. These numbers exist to remind all haters about what is super and what is meh.
