yes ) the thing was about bow+quiver in total ) not just bow. because there are 2 items which increase dmg instead just 1 crossbow item
so crossbow have less raw damage than bow+quiver but uses same 2 hands

If the singular use case for the quiver is to compensate for reload speed, it's not worth it. It could be buffed in different ways, like the Passive tree. If the damage is underpowered they could also buff that too, problem solved.

Not really, Crossbow + quiver (with + phys dmg, + whatever dmg, + crossbow dmg or whatever) would have way more damage than a bow then. They are quite similar now, as you said. crit chance is the only thing that we could talk about. The raw damage prefixes of the crossbow are still way higher, than the bows prefixes)

When I was new to the game I sold an extremely good crossbow for 1 exalt and didn't know it was worth like 50.
why do people compare bow vs crossbow? crossbow is a TWO hands weapon, so compare it vs bow+quiver

main stats are equivalent if compare 2 hands - %inc phys , flat phys

so bow+quiiver have not just more crit but more raw phys damage also because of quiver stat "#% increased Damage with Bow Skills" up to 59%
and + crit chance, and + att speed (almost double)

the only thing crossbow has more is flat elem damage (60 light , 30 cold, 30 fire)

so for 2 hands bow+quiver has WAY more raw damage.

not sure what is the logic to reduce only flat damage for bow (phys and elem) but not %inc phys and mixed acc+phys, crit, att speed.

Just buff crossbow instead, there's no need to overcomplicate things so much

+1. If they don't add gear levels and damage modifiers then i don't see a reason of not implementing it. Crossbow invest in ton of things so it would be helpful improve some of them without ruining balance.

im not sure where you read about a bow that only requires one hand to be operated. perhaps i need to rewatch all the bow videos beacause im pretty sure you need TWO hands in order for the bow not to be just a curved stick

It was an abyssal Omen or an Essence (I forgot which one exactly), but one of those categorized bows in the 1H category and the crossbow into the 2H category. Because you can wear a quiver in the "offhand" (I know it's wrong, but the game does handle it that way). Haven't played for two weeks now and I don't have time now to search for exactly which one it was.

Edit: Wasn't it the perfect essence of battle?
