I had the same issue, but I can confirm EVERYTHING IS WORKING now. You just need to complete the previous map in the sequence before advancing.

" The UI is very bad for indicating it for people in Standard, but you'll need to reclear one of the nodes prior to Ziggurat (Exarch or Eater fight). While they look like they're marked as cleared due to the similarity with the indicator Atlas maps that you've completed the bonus objective for...the "cleared" indicator for special encounters gives them a blue highlight/shine. Thank you, now I can see the maps... they are still nameless, only the tier is visible. The map device is still not working, nor is Commander Kirac, I even went to Karui Shores to try that map device... also not working.
Before the patch everything was working perfectly. |

To all the people who are saying this is fixed/resolved, please show a Nightmare map IN the map device such that it is actually enabled. Just showing the hi-lighted slot does not mean it is resolved. My device has always shown the hi-light. I am still not able to place a Nightmare map anyplace in the map device without the red error "Wrong type of map item", despite having completed all of the pinnacle bosses. The Ziggurat location is lit up, but will not accept a map. If you believe it is fixed, please show an example with a Nightmare map in place.
