How about GGG cut US a little slack, AND NOT LOCK EVERY GOOD UNIQUE BEHIND UBERS!?!??

ubers should have never been in the game and if they HAD to be they should be just for achievements not locked to to any player power.

Of course it feels bad when a build you are unable to do much more to increase power, without uber items, or make up for lack of skill cant do the content you made for us to do that has the items we need.

crazy how out of touch people can get in such a short time of joining a dev team.

the game has only gone down hill in the last 5 years and i feel like no one they bring in will fix it ( unless it's me and they listen to me 100% ).

yes skill issue. but at least before ubers I could do the content and have a chance at items i wanted. I may have had to hit my head against sirus a few times but i felt i could eventually do it. now i have to do 10 extra steps and have a 100x stronger build and that's where I quit. once I put all my effort and currency into a build and it does 1% of jungroans day .5 build on ubers i realize the game's no longer for me. that on top of all the bad league mechanics they've added make me question why i come back every league start just to get depressed.

Nah, the game needs hard content.

Diablo II had ubers and gave +3 all skills permanent charm for them.

You can play on trade and buy uber items (t16s doesn't require you super strong build) or if you play ssf it's supposed to be hard (still possible to clear ubers).

First of all, in trade leagues nothing is gated behind ubers. You can farm for and buy everything you like.

Second, I think you DO need to cut yourself some slack. Comparing yourself to someone who is probably in the top 3 of players globally when it comes to bossing... that's bound to get you depressed.

You don't have to be world class to enjoy the game. You don't even have to be any fucking good at all. I certainly am not, but the game is still fun.

If you need to compare yourself, then compare yourself to your past self. See that you make progress from league to league and that's really all you can do. If that's not enough for you then maybe it's healthier to take a break.

Remember, at first, Ubers were supposed to be "aspirational content with no rewards" but with "bragging rights" and to "test the limit of your build". They did a whole 180 before release and then continued to double down on exclusive rewards. I wish they weren't gated behind multiple annoying fragments and instead just used 1 in addition to the base boss' frags.

It's all just power creep. Normal Atziri was just as difficult or even harder than any uber today when Sacrifice of the Vaal released in 2014. People just didn't cry that much and were used to slower paced progression/hitting walls and getting their *** whooped every now and then and having to try sth for a longer period of time without succeeding.
