Game Crashing on startup

Alright, let's try to determine how far along it's getting before the issues arises.
Could you post a link to the game's log file on Pastebin? https://www.poecommunity.help/information/log-file Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.

" How bizzare. I updated windows after installing, and it said it was up to date, though when I checked just now, it said the update had failed to install properly. I wonder if the same thing that caused the update to fail to install is behind POE not launching? Regardless, I'll attempt to update windows again now. Thanks. |

I attempted to update windows, but was unable to - I got this message:
Failed to install on 4/03/2026 - 0xc1900101 Googling suggests that there's an driver issue, but I haven't been able to work out what else to do/how to proceed. I tried using windows driver verifier, but it sent my PC into a bootloop - I've got it out now, but still no luck with windows updating |

Most likely, the gap between major versions is too large.

" That did it! Not sure what the issue was to begin with, but a full reinstall of windows seemed to have fixed things. Thankyou everyone for your help |
