" I am! Why can't divine stack be increased so that all transaction be done in 1 go? |
|
" ...they already recently doubled the stack size. There is no "rule" other than the market which determines trade values. In some leagues mirrors are worth far below 1000 divs. Others, way more. There is no "correct" stack size to be solved for. "All transactions in one go" is a moving target and they literally cannot predict where the values may lie league after league. But an INFINITE stack size, which maybe on paper seems like it solves any possible issue, opens the door for quicker and larger trades with no safety net and potentially far more damage from bots and other types of issues. There's also the incentive to make purchases which is GGG's business model. They WANT/NEED you to buy stash tabs. They WANT/NEED you to buy merchant tabs. To do that, limits need to be placed on the "free" stuff as unobtrusively as possible. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Mar 6, 2026, 4:52:10 PM

" yes. yes. yes. This is exactly what folks need to internalize. There is NO RUSH for any trade beyond your own impatience. And there is no excuse anymore now that Faustus is in the game. And when you are making a trade in the mirror-tier: you better be 100% sure and take that time, even if it means saving up gold and using Faustus instead if the value of a mirror goes above the trade window size. Or insisting on collateral which most players are more than happy to provide (and expect to provide) at that level of play and cost. For your story: excellent story and there are plenty of good honorable people in the world. It's also "Easier" to be honorable when we are talking about real life. Faceless entities in a video game are a different breed. That's why social media is a cesspool of vitriol, even though irl people don't talk that way face to face for the most part. " I'm glad you used the word easier, rather than easy. There have been massive studies along this very subject line. Clearly showing a trend for people's online behavior/attitudes and how they differ from physical interaction. Sometimes radically so. Some of which are incredibly fascinating. Anywho, just thought I'd share. Peace Confront those who dare obstruct the transmission of your information with swift rejection, for they sit silently obsessing over your submission.

" Yep, I put it in quotes because its the word "easier" is almost always used to describe people's poor behavior in online forums. It is easier to insult and berate people when you don't know them and have absolutely no connection via typing online. Starting anew....with PoE 2

" I certainly wouldn't discount that point, as I know it's relevant. However, what I found most interesting, and is vaguely paradoxical towards your entry, is the debate within social sciences about 'masks'. What I mean is using a 'designated cover' or 'mask'. Many believe that the situation is less about the anonymity a person is granted through the internet and actually suggests that an individual wearing their 'mask', IS their true identity. It finally gives them access to be their genuine selves- entirely risk-free of any social injury. I believe this was also related to the 'chronically online'. And how its tied to addiction. Seems like an inversion of the comment phrase, 'he let the mask slip'. Its definitely a rabbit hole to get lost in. Especially when one begins to notice their own behaviors/attitudes reflected back at them. Peace, brother.
