Make Leveling from 96 to 100 more meaningful-Add some small additional reward/motivation

This candy about 'you don't know how to build' should stop.

Don't mystake me with the idiots typing "build issue" in every posts. I'm pretty bad at making build.
What i try to say is that 2 points wont make my build God or bad.

Could probably have posted this in the respect our time thread.

I'm not expecting "a game to respect my time" i try to respect my time myself. I buy a game, i play it if i want or not. I make pause when i feel like i need it.
GGG not making lvl 100 grind mandatory is actualy them respecting our time.

GGG said it multiple times themselves. Lvl 100 is for the ladder. The ladder is the highscore of the game that change every 4 months. You can see it on the website. People compete to be the first there. Pretty much the only reason they go for lvl 100 unless personal goal.

This is the reason the XP rate wont get much better to get lvl 100 every 4 months and this is the reason you wont get better rewards for doing so.

It's a massive grind for people who have other stuffs to do. So again, dont make it obligatory.

Levels 96-100 *are* the bonus. For continuing to play long after you have completed content. Getting 5 more levels than most players is the reward, but if they were to add something it would need to be cosmetic only.

They are not. You spit blood for nothing reaching from 96 to 100 level. Penalty is 10 times more punishing to get actually what? One passive?

Even tetris has bigger rewards in higher levels. Common be serious and bring some motivations. Cosmetics are for the Sims series.

Just no, please. We don't need bigger gap between players who can reach lvl 100 and players who can't. It's not about lack of motivation but about lack of time. People will not get more time when you increase rewards. People will reach lvl 100 more if you reduce XP needed and not if you make those levels more rewarding.

Yea but xp loss never will be reduced and xp gain never increased. Also motivation doesn't bring more easiness to the already painful play above 95. Especially if it gives you +1 meh passive point. Hinekora or Kalandra may change same power though. But overall gameplay sucks above 96.
I've said this in a couple other threads too - for me, leveling past 95 is just... absurd.

XP gain gets kneecapped harder every level (hello, experience penalty). Death penalty is still 10% (or 2.5% with an Omen), and each level needs more XP than the last. So you're doing more work, with a bigger "oops, you died" tax.

And what do you get for this heroic effort?

One passive point. That's it.
No new gear tier, no "now you can equip level 99 boots of destiny", no cosmetic, no stash tab, no new area, no nothing. Just one lousy point per level.

Yep. For some builds passive points are not just a rounding error. On my setup, the last 6-7 points are roughly 15% more minion DPS or around 1.5k energy shield. That's not exactly "cute".

The problem is the price tag. Those last points are a ridiculous time investment. Not "a few extra evenings". More like tens of hours, sometimes pushing into the "why am I doing this to myself" range once you factor in currency farming, map juicing, avoiding risky content, the whole ritual.

So yeah - can we stop pretending 95+ should be pure flex and actually attach some kind of reward to the max-level grind? And no, you don't get to 100 by "just playing normally". You grind. A lot.

No. It is how it is. Stop pretending that those points matter in any way. You are just lying to yourself.

Maybe you've forgotten where you are. This is the feedback section. People post feedback and recommendations here. Wild concept, I know.

If your entire contribution is "it is what it is" and "no", that's not feedback. That's just you doing a drive-by and honking the horn. If you don't like the topic, don't read it. If you do read it, add something constructive.

Because "it is what it is" in a recommendations thread is like walking into a restaurant review and saying "well, it's food". Technically true, completely useless.

If you think extra rewards past 95 are a bad idea, explain why and suggest a better alternative. Cosmetic only, achievement only, adjust XP curve, whatever. Anything beats the philosophical masterpiece of "nah".

I explained the whole thing to you in one of previous threads. You are just repeating the same thing over and over again. Even your logic doesn't make any sense - on the one hand you say that last levels are meaningful for your build because it gives you significant amount of damage/defense but on the other you want more skill points for those levels. As I said a few posts before - giving players more skill pts for levels 95+ just increases the gap between players who already reach lvl 100 every league and those who don't. It's not about motovation. It's about time. You don't magicaly get more time whe GGG gives you more rewards for last five levels. Also even if GGG do that players will never be satisfied. So let's take this how it is - it's for the best.
