Clear message to GGG.
" even with that they cant have SAME thing... same it is ping spiking and going back , like in video from 1st post here. i got the same... every day at approx same time ping in poe is dancing with internet problems people will have DIFFERENT - someone will experience packet loss, someone just ping rise , someonne- disconnections and so on, but not same evening ping spikes and dancing for me same can happen even in the morning, but not so often. and it goes down with time, just like online goes down .. no connection ofc ... no way there is a link Last edited by ungamer321#7175 on Feb 5, 2026, 8:35:16 AM

Probably an ISP routing issue causing packet loss/delays during peak hours.
Tell your country to get better network infrastructure that can handle demand, or to prevent the current infrastructure from being dominated by a few players if it's the case. |

I agree with the author. The problem is only in PoE 2. Moreover, there was almost no such thing at the start of the league. I've noticed a trend where by the end of the league, this ping crap starts, as if the normal servers are disabled and cheap and weak hardware is connected instead. My friends also have this problem. To reiterate, the problem is ONLY in PoE 2. I have powerful hardware and fast internet (500 Mbps).

" You're describing a NETWORK issue, not a server issue. One can generally determine which side the problem is on with one simple check. If it affects all users, problem is on or closer to the host. If it's affecting some users, problem is likely on the client or ISP side. Seeing as it is not affecting all users, and as already established same user with same problem using DIFFERENT destination servers... But then again, I've only been in the industry for about 30 years, so I probably don't know what I'm talking about. Good thing there are, we'll call them undereducated, people out there that keep people like me employed! |
|
" So... problem happens when there are LESS users, because GGG for some reason owns two full service stacks and just turns off the more expensive one later in the league? And that is the cause of the *checks notes* network latency between your computer and their server. Seriously... where do you people come up with this shit? |
|
" " again - it is impossible to have the same ping dancing for people with" internet on their side problems" because different isp, different connection, different nodes, different pc hardware, cables and so on CANT make SAME ping dance. or you , with your 30yeras working experience will tell me it is an easy thing to happen ? |
|
" Less people = less load. GGG has 2 projects - POE 1 and POE 2. Why not switch servers between them for the start of the league? I have doubts about your 30 years of experience. Or your professional suitability. Because you can't even understand basic logic. |

If there's an issue every morning at the same time, it may be that GGG uses bare metal servers for the first 50,000 (or whatever baseline) players, and then adds cloud providers once things get busier. Cloud is more expensive.
This stuff is hard to diagnose even with full information, which we don't have. 0.4 SSF: Gemling Minions: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/DistributedAutomaton-5739/character/CrystalController

I don't understand all the people defending GGG so hard on this issue. It IS an issue. It has always been an issue. So many nerd Squad in the comments trying to armchair troubleshoot via a forum post kills me.
