trying to level my meme behemoth
so far end of act 2, ~5 deaths, 3 of them to hillock jump and maven balls it goes easy as i have seen these 'fun' boss encounters before, so no surprises but it is f.. tedious and obscenely unfun. bosses before merveil.. they had fixed spawn time so you kill one, WAIT, kill second, WAIT.. wtf is this? contemplating dropping out because while i know i will fly trough the campaign after first lab i know it will take several hours more than it should for no reason other than time tax glad people like wasting their time on faux difficulty, im not one of them |

" If you are already dying multiple times as early as Hillock, it is probably fair to say that neither melee nor hardcore are a great fit for you. I was talking to a friend in voice chat while doing some work-related coding work, with his stream open on a second monitor, and he really did not have a hard time at all. Each act became easier, which is of course to be expected once you get your hands on some passive points, baseline gems, and all that sort of stuff. He has already reached red maps in about 12 hours of actual playtime. Melee does not seem to be that bad for the event, even in the slightly harsher environment. You could argue that the first two acts are little more than a skill check, but after that it becomes fairly straightforward, with content largely trivialized by the sheer amount of player power.
