Once again, in this case the bot is the seller, not the buyer. If it was just a fast bot that buys quicker than you, you would ALSO get the "item is in demand" message.

The bot is the seller/price fixer, listing the item to make it look like a legit, merchant listing with the option to instantly buy it. It's to make other sellers believe that this cheap price is legit and post their own items for that same low price. Once a player posts the item for cheap as well, then the bot will try to snipe it. And at this point yeah, it will probably be faster than you, however at that time the message will be a normal "item is in demand" message.

I am in the topic and I know what OP is saying. It's just that OP wrongly assumes that a bot buyer was faster than him. I'm explaining to the OP that the error he's getting is not because someone bought it faster, it's because the item is being price-fixed and there's no way to buy it in the first place. It's not a legit listing being sniped by the bot - it's a fixed/bugged listing that you cannot buy (instead you'll get an error) to make you think the cheap price is legit, so you post your own items for the same or lower price.

I really don't know how to make this issue more clear to understand than I already have... Read my posts once again, slowly, and you'll get it.

WHICH is a FALSE assumption. If it was "insta buy by bots", the message would still be "item is in demand". Since it's not, it's a price-fix.

Every single time, without fail, the item I tried to purchase and got sniped disappears from listings when I refresh the page. This isn't a price fixing issue.

Even if the item is gone it was still a price fix. However I don't care anymore, believe what you want. It's not like your whining will change anything with the game and the number of bots that play it, so remember to take it easy.

There are videos that people released showing bot players insta buying there screens are black and dont even load everything so they can load faster. Has been a thing and bots are an issue in a game balanced around trade.
