Economy mess and pay to win

Removing Omen of Homogenising Exaltation and the Omen of Homogenising Coronation was a colossal mistake, they allowed people to craft rather than the rng hot mess we have now.

TRADE is dominating this game; I have always said that.
This system favors small groups without real-life interaction and excludes larger groups of players from participating. It's a strange business plan. |

21 / 23 Gems have always had that problem. They should have never brought it back.
#1) As you mentioned. People have to be playing. #2) The bigger problem I run into. No one is using my skill. In PoE1 I liked to play things no one else is playing which meant not only was it more rare but also only possible to find the first month. It was usually cheap but you had to stalk the trade site. PoE1 has more than one source for 21/23 gems too. Still I usually had to make my own. Needless to say I $%^&* hate temple of Atzoatl and Alva. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac

I never liked the crafting in POE1/2 , but the 0.3 update in POE 2 made me at least craft more.
This season I wasted 240 currency only on a pair of boots. So yeahh...the economy this patch is broken, and I have 0 interest in investing in farming the currency just to craft my own items. And good items are too pricy anyaway, but during this update, the prices have wnet through the roof and have reached Saturn.... :)) |

" Don't forget that trading exacerbates the issue of group play having increased drop rate compared to solo play. All it takes is to give all the currency drops from the group to a single member and they can very quickly buy the upgrades that they need from trade and then switch to another member of the group. |
|
" Ha, this is what we were doing in D3. Just transferring gold between each other to buy an upgrade, then sell the old item and give back the money. No risk involved, easy upgrades compared to playing solo. Just imagine this but multiplied by 100. |
