ascendancy trials are TRASH content.

quit the league initially because of them.
came back for private league to give it another run, quitting again. ascendancy trials are FUCKING GARBAGE. absolutely nothing has ever driven me away from a game harder than them. ive killed every boss at the hardest difficulty more times than i can remember, i can easily farm the most juicy maps. if trials arent massively changed next league im just done with POE. basically nobody likes the mechanics. we know it, you know it, they have been despised since poe1. time to get your heads out of your asses GGG. Yeah, it's kind of hilarious in a grim way.
I've got 100% Atlas passives done. I can delete Uber Arbiter and the other pineapple bosses in about 10 seconds. Even some absurdly juiced T16s are only "annoying" because a random mob offscreen decides to cosplay a ballistic missile launcher. But Suckhamas? Still sucks. Still manages to be weirdly difficult in a way that has nothing to do with my build or my skill and everything to do with the content being designed like a spite puzzle. Balanced? Hell no. |

Trials are fun af. It's literally the only content which you can't faceroll completely rn. People actually need to learn mechanics and adapt on the go. We need MORE content like this, not less.

Just get a set of relics. Sekhema goes from annoying and dumb to extremely easy.
Beginner set +honour resistance% +maximum honour Intermediate +run speed or +boss damage +honour resistance +maximum honour Advanced Start fitting in Against the Darkness relic in the build. |

" Trials are a faceroll, they're just not exciting, engaging, or entertaining. Slap kn some honour resistance and trap damage mitigation then just run through everything and 1 shot the boss. Or choose from a series of mechanics that can be completely ignored like lightning damage if you stay in a circle or fire traps that only shoot in 4 very specific directions. The problem isn't that they are hard, it's that they are boring. We need more fun content. |

" I think that experience is very different for SSF (which I play) and trade. At this point I even think we should have two separate forums as a huge part of "trade" feedback is non-existent in SSF. |

One year since launch and trials are still trash? SHOCKER!
Time to face it - this is The Vision and it ain't changing. |

What is the standard price for 4th sekhema carry? 1 div?
I think GGG should just add option to insert not Bariya Coin, but 1 Div into the starting pedestal to get all ascendancy points immediately ) |

" It's very skill-based honestly. I've done four floors on ES non-armour, non-EV melee (meaning that every hit applies as such to your honor, no armour, no EV to help.. and melee is melee) on a lackluster relic set on a char who promptly ripped to Arbiter and couldn't have done T2+ pinnacles. There's RNG to it for sure. But it's manipulable RNG. You can stack the odds to your favor with the right play. In many cases, RNG adds to the skill ceiling and increases the room for skill expression. That is so here too. However - while I am fairly OK with Sekhema and consider it a pretty nice mechanic, it's still a bit annoying that you have to do it again and again on all chars. There's clearly also players to whom it's perhaps unnecessarily hard of an experience. Act 4 hints to a 3rd trial. So I imagine that more ways of getting the ascendancies are going to be added down the line. Perhaps one of them will be mostly based on your build quality rather than your ability to play a RNG-based mechanic in the best way. I understand many players feel otherwise and GGG needs to consider their needs too, but personally I hope they add more mechanics that require playing the odds, stacking the RNG to your favor, and being mindful and skillful about how you approach the content.
