I find the wyvern is boring to play:
The effective playstyle is something like devour (to gain energy charges) -> oil barrage to kill everything in sight -> devour -> oil barrage … or the wyvern can also just auto-attack with rend that is usually strong enough to oneshot normal mobs once charged with ligthning
Bosses die super quickly versus oil barrage, so its just a question of generating some energy charges somehow. If one doesnt have a trick for that, the normal wyvern way seems to be attacking until priming the boss for a heavy stun (e.g. with rend + stun support, so essentially just auto attacking which is boring) and then generating the energy charges with wingblast. Boss mechanics are usually skipped, because 1-2 channeled oil barrages are enough to kill the boss. I regard oil barrage as massively overpowered.
Other skills seem far less effective to use.
I dont like the way energy charges are handled here: there is no effort in generating them due to devour. Its like they designed skills for gain-and-spend-charges gameplay for people who do not like gain-and-spend-charges gameplay , so they made refilling the charges super easy. In practice the stopping to feed in between monster groups starts feeling annoying after a while and there is no meaningful choice.
