0.4.0c Hotfix 15

I have done 30 spymaster rooms, zero medallions dropped. This so called "W" patch snuck in a nerf, 100%. I already talked to someone else, they got 1/40. How is that a "high chance" to drop?!?!

GGG - Stop making changes mid-season. Let the league cook, stop meddling.
insane, now hotfix Merit of Service into the game
Curiosity is followed by ambition. Ambition, is followed by madness.
Thanks GGG -- I know it's hard to balance the demands from all parts of the game and that the temple is highly problematic, but appreciate you reversing course here so that players could continue to dream and build temples. Keep at it.
Thank you GGG, you made a big effort to do this i could enjoy my league again !

It is when it comes to Diablo now a day, they want full game price for DLC content that is just a class at most some times. Their game is just a sham of what it was in Diablo 2 era. I was all for Diablo then 3 came out, then 4... Immortal... Yeah, Need I say less? PoE makes these packs you can buy if you want. Diablo makes content you HAVE TO PAY FOR to enjoy the new content... I will take the optional MTX over Forced to pay for DLC that is not worth 10$.

Diablo 2 released with 4 acts ( that you had to repeat 2 more times ) and 5 classes. It had a paid dlc that included 1 act and 2 classes. It rarely ever got content updates, much of which was taking existing content and moving it around to somewhere else or buffing numbers for special zones.

Diablo 4 released with more content as a baseline, the same amount of classes, and has had content updates regularly this whole time. They're not massive by any stretch, but they're free, and they're actual content. They're also reasing their newest expansion with a new act and 2 classes.

People love to keep bringing up Diablo 2 as the golden standard of arpgs, but it's an old af game that hasn't aged well, even with the remaster. It also still doesn't get content updates, and games have grown to avoid most of it's designs because of how unreasonably punishing they are, convoluted, or just "back in my day" designs that nobody is interested in replicating.

People also love to forget all the turmoil Diablo 2 had going on during it's release and the years afterwards. The base game was a real failure, and people did not like it. The expansion basically saved the game, and modding / private servers saved the franchise. So even nowadays, the people that still like Diablo 2 are still going to like it, it's just not bringing in new players like it used to, even with the remaster. It's a you love it or leave it game now.

And the same is said for Path of Exile, to a far more abrasive degree. It's rather ironic considering how much GGG wanted to make a Diablo 2 successor; that means it basically almost fell apart before they accidentally created something players could enjoy with Essence league and beyond. Including all that optional content, like storage space, that they intentionally create bigger problems for so they can sell more optional storage space.
Just got done installing Diablo 4 but back to POE2 building my temple boyz!

Obviously stating what you did puts you in the group you just said I was in, doing the thing I did. I guess we are all one big family xD

Difference being, I only stated a fact, and I didn't try to place myself outside the group, while pretending to be on a higher horse giving life lessons.

Happy New Year Fam.
last patch already ruined all of my spymasters, THANKS GGG! Great work!
