Took way too long?? This is the first day the company has been back at work since the 22nd. The hotfix 13 and 14 that was done was probably mark or johnathon doing something on their own time. Seriously, people like them deserve to have a christmas and new year and let their hair down so to speak.

The sense of entitlement in this statement is staggering. To think that YOU, or anyone else have the right to demand that design choices are "run by you first" is off the charts narcissistic.

I mean .. GGG quite literally used to do that; they would put forth a manifesto to get player feedback about what they wanted to do, before doing it.

The problem was that they stopped wanting feedback, they wanted praise / thumbs up. When they didn't get it anymore, because they were doing some really drastic and unfavorable changes, the players criticized them more than praised. So they stopped doing the manifestos.

People like me deserved to have my Christmas and New Year and let their hair down, did so, had their time wasted, and then were told to "be nice" when they voiced (completely legitimately) negative feedback about the whole ordeal.

People who work for companies don't have the luxury of weaponizing their humanity in an attempt to manipulate how I perceive them; guess what, people work on oil rigs and miss Christmas and New Years too but they make great money.

That's on them. They chose that career and the have a level of professionalism expected. If you complained on the oil rig about missing Christmas guess what? You won't miss Christmas at all buddy, they'll fire you on the spot and send you straight home to see your family!

A job is a job.
