You only think temple is fun because currency is finally accessible

You all claim it was "fun" but you were copying someone's layout that had figured out the optimal path... therefore proving yet again the loot was the focus.

don't bundle me in with them. i literally said the opposite -- no amount of loot would have made me enjoy that mechanic.
Your mad at content giving more loot... having more ways to get loot....

Ok buddy

Sick way to do zero reading. Not at all my point as stated several times.

That's simply not true. There's tons of content offering big ticket items that only skyrocketed in value now that everyone farming it abandoned the content to run temples.

Rakiata's Flow was literally 133div+ yesterday morning before the big nerf happened. Uul-Netol's Embrace was tailing close behind at 110 or so.

As i said. CURRENCY

That you can drop items that you can sell is true, but did you try farming raw currency outside temple?

Raw currency farm is, and always has been since PoE1, a noob trap. You're not supposed to be farming raw currency. Allowing currency printer leagues is bad for the economy, in fact.

But thats exactly what Temple is. Thats why its so good.
“The bird of Hermes is my name, eating my wings to make me tame.”
so its exactly as I originally stated.
People never liked the temple for the mechanic.

How do I know this?

Because when the league just started, people were saying the temple was just awful garbage and they were gonna skip it because it was too much of a clunky convoluted mess.

I mean obviously , some of us actually did enjoy the mechanic for itself, and not the loot, so not everyone cared just about the loot, but most of the people in this thread absolutely proved that the currency is the only thing they cared about when farming the temple.

the majority of people farmed the temple cuz it was printing currency.
some people enjoyed the mechanic, most people did not.
None of the angry people who are raging at GGG right now would have ever spent dozens of hours building their temples if they didn't give 10x the amount of currency normally running maps does.
Not true, my temple gives me 1 div per run and I still enjoy it.

Temple is finally a place that takes planning and thought to setup, but I can turn my brain off while I’m farming it. It’s challenging but not frustrating.

When I’m in maps, I have to roll the map check the mods, then when I run the map pray I dont get one shot out of nowhere to some bs I can’t even see. I’m hitting a dead end at somepoint running around an empty map.

Temple I know exactly where I’m going and what ti expect. Its so fun.

You think its good, because people can't be bothered to find stuff worth selling. Meanwhile, pumping out tons of divines hurts the game economy by lowering the value of divines and making everything more expensive. Those who don't engage with the temple in this manner, or engage with it at all, are otherwise forced to abandon small ticket item farming and hope to strike it big with rarer stuff.

Temple needs to be nerfed, otherwise there's no chance in hell this mechanic makes it into core in 0.5.0.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!
