0.4.0c Hotfix 13

Fubgun just showed that even with the old now suboptimnal spymaster layout he still makes 20+ div raw per temple. This means that people like him will still be able to farm bank but other people wont be able to build one to that level due to the level 3 requirement for locks. People with unfinished temples wont be able to make bank anymore hence divs will go up, hence the divs that fubgun, mily etc farm will be worth more. So you just caused the richest players to be able to amass wealth compared to other players even harder.

Easily the worst hotfix i have seen both in poe 1 and poe 2.

I have tier 2 room at the end of my temple, so now it gone.

Don’t care what the haters say. Solid fix. Especially bc I was buying divs this morning at 240 now they’re already 360. I love markets.

Well I played the game ethically and now the only real endgame feature since that exist in PoE2 was just nerfed to oblivion my temples ran so much smoother than any map. I guess this season is over GGG keep grinding we need a real endgame I look forward to the future. But for now I am done in this league.

The reason these changes are so headscratching is that, even though the existing top-end temples are nerfed somewhat by the diminishing returns/spymaster swap, they are also still astronomically better than basically any other mechanic based on watching some streamers.....but because of the changes to how locks work, if you didn't already have such a temple set up, you can't realistically get there anymore. It isn't the first time a farming strat has been nerfed mid-league, but it is the first time I can recall, in either game, where people who built a farming strat ahead of the nerf get to retain it while others can't build it anymore....
