0.4.0c Hotfix 13

Can we keep this civil? I get the frustration, but insults don’t improve the outcome.
The extreme Temple stacking clearly wasn’t intended, and if it’s contributing to server issues/crashes, the mechanic has to be adjusted. This nerf was also pretty inevitable, which is why I didn’t invest days into building a Temple around pushing it to the limit. My main concern is fairness: if already-finished, Tier 3 locked “top” Temples effectively keep their advantage while people still building get slowed/blocked, it feels like the ladder is being pulled up and the gap to normal players gets bigger. A transition fix would help a lot here |

This hotfix, plain and simple, makes the game worse to play. And it’s not the first time. At this point it doesn’t feel accidental—it feels like a pattern. Every time something like this happens, the result is the same: less fun, less excitement, less reason to log in.
These changes didn’t make the game better or healthier. They just made it more frustrating. Players spend the same time and effort for less reward. What used to feel enjoyable now feels restricted. People notice when their time is being devalued, and they don’t forget it. What really hurts isn’t just the numbers, it’s the attitude behind them. Repeated hotfixes like this send a clear message: player experience comes second. Feedback doesn’t matter. Fun is something to be cut back, not protected. That message builds resentment fast. Players don’t quit overnight. Interest fades slowly, patch after patch. Excitement turns into hesitation, then into indifference. Many players aren’t asking what’s coming next anymore—they’re asking why they should keep playing at all. A game lasts because players trust the people making it. Right now, that trust is being worn down by your own decisions. If this direction continues, the damage won’t be short-term. You’ll lose the players who cared enough to stay through all the previous changes. This outcome was avoidable, and it didn’t have to be this way. |

You still have got time to clean up and give the people what they want, but the time to wipe is drastically shortening before that shit dries.

Apart from all the feedback here which I partially agree with.
I did not build a snake and never "abused" the temple. But now, when I try to play the temple "normally" I have issues like this, where a part of my temple doesn't connect to anything all the sudden, and I do not have any tiles to connect them either... ![]() wtf is this? AND, to be honest, the game still deletes too many tiles randomly which brick my temple randomly. This is very annoying and just makes me want to stop playing this shit. Spending hours on maps to get enough energy is already annoying, not getting anything out of it is mega annoying. Please do not make this shit part of the base game next patch. thanks |

Fun detected. Can't have that at all. Starting 2026 off strong I see. Good work GGG.
