0.4.0c Hotfix 13

GGG, It baffles me how consistently garbage your balance change decisions are. Put yourself in the players shoes. You just began building your temple, maybe got somewhat of a chain going, then this patch comes out.

THE DIMINISHING RETURNS WOULD HAVE LIKELY BEEN ENOUGH OF A CHANGE. But no, you had to completely swap the base functions of certain rooms because the temple was "too repetitive". Let alone the change to locks which makes it even harder for a new player to get set up.

You basically just took a massive shit on the low end of temple players while the players who already have one setup are still farming a shit load of currency.

You almost revived the league but as per usual you killed it again.

What genius thought this was a good idea? Once again, you punish casual players (or even dedicated players who don't care about printing mirrors but just want to have enough currency to compete in the absurdity that is the economy after 2 weeks of a league) and demonstrate how completely out of touch with your player base (non streamers, anyway) you are. Well done GGG. Can't say I'm surprised, at least.

Way to go!!! Not nerfing the heavy farmers who actually ruin the economy but everyone else...

Shameless nerfs, They have no clue how much time and effort people have dedicated to building their temple. Also, to even be able to run a well built temple you need to have a crazy good and strong build. It's not just 'free' currency, while the temple was absolutely overtuned, this just seems like GGG is very out of touch with how their game works and players operate. This is the worst patch they've ever put out. Days and even weeks of hard work, planning and building has been undone. This is a low blow. GGG really hates it when people are having fun. This is crazy.

This patch is genuinely terrible, easily one of the worst you’ve released in a long time.
You completely failed to deliver the promised endgame in 0.4. There is no real endgame. The only new mechanic is the Temple, and that’s it.

Players finally found an actually interesting and rewarding way to engage with the Temple. Yes, it required an insane setup - 50+ hours, heavy RNG, and deep system knowledge. Spymaster could literally refuse to drop for days. But that was the point: it was hard, time-consuming, and required commitment. And in the end, it paid off.

Legacy Temple farming required a very strong build, significant investment, and real effort. For once, that investment felt justified. For the first time this league, many players — myself included — finally had something that resembled real endgame content, instead of the same boring loop of endlessly running maps.

And what do you do?

You kill the only interesting thing in the league.

Now there is zero motivation to play. Because the pattern is always the same: players find or create something interesting, something deep, something worth grinding for - and you just nerf it mid-league.

That should never happen.

If this interaction was a mistake, then that mistake is on you, not on the players who spent dozens of hours engaging with the system you designed. The correct approach would be to leave it for this league and adjust it in the next one.

Instead, you invalidate time, effort, and build investment halfway through the league.

This is extremely disappointing, GGG.
At this point, the league is effectively dead.

Guys Bomb them on steam/PlayStation/TenCent not here. Our time it not to be taken by granted. Our time is the most valuable thing. You decide to make our time worthless? We decide to make ur game worthless. Simple transaction no hard feelings.

PLEASE REVERSE THE CHANGE! NO MID LEAGUE NERF!
