0.4.0c Hotfix 13

Honestly love this game and was having so much fun, the most fun ive had on this game by a longshot i get nerfing the drops but ruining temple building was a horrible idea its impossible now, i have 55 rooms and i cant even keep my temple up its slowly deleting i couldnt imagine trying to build a new one. GG just ruined the fun for the sweats and made it impossible for the casuals to try out its sad they just ruined an amazing feature in the game

So, as always, people with prior know-how (leaked or just extremely fast learners) get to become EXTREMELY rich on juicing temple, but as soon as a proper explanation of the league mechanic gets out, it gets nerfed so much that the regular people don't even need to try, because it's a waste of time with less benefit than a regular map for them.

And as always, instead of reseting the temple for everyone so we have an equal playing field at least from now on, you cover the early birds by leaving their supersnakes alone (which just somewhat nerfed drops), while BARRING ANYONE ELSE FROM EVER MAKING IT EVEN 20% THAT FAR.

I'd like to say I'm surprised by this, but this happens EVERY SINGLE LEAGUE, I expect it at this point. It's still DISGUSTING and really shady.

Here's a theory
- RMT farms are employees of GGG (or their asian overlords/owners). That's why they never get wiped out
- someone at GGG always leaks how to juice the league mechanic to the absolute limit at league start to give RMT sellers starting stock of currency to sell
- as soon as the common players finally start figuring out how to make the best of the league mechanic, GGG steps in to nerf it by 90%
- GGG (and/or their asian overlords) profits from RMT
- roll out a new league and repeat

As a POE1 player...

The prices of the divines will go up 2 times just by the end of the day. Are we going to beat 1div -> 4k ex (like 0.3) -> I think so.
People will start leaving. And there is nothing else to do than trying to construct the dump temple.

Agree with this point. Building out the juicy temple was the most fun I've had in PoE 2 so far. It gave real long-term goals to work towards. But it feels very punishing now playing post-patch.

First message ever and played PoE games many thousands hours.

What a great day to wake up and see the patch notes.

Spending hours and hours to trying even to get temple running. See patch notes and all those hours wasted.

Where is all the respect for player base gone from GGG ???

This is the most stupid decision ever made from developers...

Well, the respect goes both ways. Financial support is gone.
