The exploit was holten, yep fixed. swapping room mechanics had nothing to do about exploiting. Changing locks had nothing to do with an exploit. Nuking players abilities to build a functioning temple while allowing the cheaters to keep theres, had nothing to do with fixing an exploit.

Do you think before you speak, clearly not.

Pretty much yeah. What is the best about the entire situation is that I see plenty of accounts who praised GGG for creating the exploit now denouncing them. It seems the only way to have fun in this game is to abuse an exploit for currency.

I didnt get to do the abyss rare mob abuse before it was gutted, then I also missed the temple abuse because I was with family for Christmas lol.... joevington
Please just start a new season already—that would be the fairest thing for everyone.
I hope you can quickly decide on the direction for the Temple fixes and then launch a new season right away. Dragging this out isn’t fair to any player.
Whether it’s 0.4.1 or straight to 0.5 doesn’t matter—just reset the progress and give us a fresh start.
That was the only way I could farm efficiently and have fun. Now? Might as well not even bother logging on. Peace out, last Druid season. Catch y'all next season.
GGG - As a fellow game developer, I understand the challenges of managing the complexities of a game, its systems, and the things players want. I know you're well intentioned and trying to find the best answer to all involved.

The changes in this patch to building temples appears to make it extremely difficult (if not impossible) to build an actual 'finished' temple (e.g. a 70+ room temple similar to the legacy ones that many players have and can continue to sustain). I had spent ~40 hours of playtime getting to my 18 room temple with 4 Tier 3 spymasters which I can now sustain. I did have closer to 25 rooms, but after the update, I can't sustain a chain beyond my last Tier 3 spymaster. I currently do not believe I can actually improve my temple due to the need to get both a +1 medallion and the right tiles to be able to progress (and protect) growing my chain.

Obviously the rewards of high-end temples were way over-tuned. I have no issue/concern with you nerfing those. Please reconsider making it possible to continue 'building' temples by reverting the 'Locks can only be applied to a Tier 3 room' change -- so that we can keep building temples (even though they'll be less rewarding) because it is fun building the temples and seeing the improvement in their rewards over time.

If I'm wrong and it is actually possible to progress and build a 70 room temple from the state I have shown above, I'd love to better understand how that will work as I'm currently not able to see a path.
