[Vaal Temple] Rewards need to be nerfed badly, economy is in shambles
|
i think it bothered the devs that pretty much nobody was doing temple for the first 2 weeks of the league because it wasnt rewarding at all. so they bumped up the rewards way over the top. now its out of control. they really have no idea how to balance things properly. temple should've been rewarding from day 1 without any exploits, instead we had to go through all this nonsense.

People complained because the temple was unrewarding and tedious/not fun. So they started pumping the rewards. Then someone figured out how you could no-life temple and design it differently to run it for big drops.
Temple drops aren't what make it good/bad, it is poorly designed and needs a rework so it takes less time investment, is less confusing/more sraightforward, and of course it needs to be fun(bug-free would go a long way to helping this). |

The economy isn't in shambles. Because of temple, everything has value now. You can literally spin the wheel, run a random mechanic and make profit. It's great, so much more fun than last league (which I also loved).

" Everything made profit before the temple as well. What you're failing to understand is that costs also rose in equal measure. What cost maybe a handful of divines now measure in the hundreds. The consequence of this is that if you're new into the league, what scraps of currency you find in campaign amount to nothing when you want to gear up. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!
