[Vaal Temple] Rewards need to be nerfed badly, economy is in shambles

Do you know in 1960 a Coke cost 5 cents.
It doesn't now.

Fix it GGG

People crying about a 'broken economy' have no clue how it works. The economy isn't glass — it bends and adjusts. Case in point: go look at TFT right now. T15 waystones are 9 per 1 div. That means with the right setup u can make 2div per map just by selling waystones

Just saying that also indicates a broken economy. When 9 maps cost 1 div. That is a broken economy.

Affliction league flashbacks.
Worthless currency such as chaos, divine, exalted.
But items that aren't directly dropping from that one abused exploit - well, they are hiking in price drastically.

And just like Affliction league, I expect the one that follows will be met with deafening cries of "poverty/unfun league" when Fate of the Vaal winds up not going core.

Those who don't partake in this broken snake meta will be mentally far better off in the coming months.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

The in-game economy became highly inflated within just two weeks, before the Temple gameplay was even released. In reality, the Temple only gives casual players a chance to gaze at the back of farming teams from afar—if anything, farming teams have exploited the Temple to further amplify their advantages.
If you think the Temple is the cause of the economic collapse, you are completely mistaken. The real culprits behind the shattered economy are the farming teams’ absurdly high loot rates and Real-Money Trading (RMT) activities conducted by certain players.

At this point, claims of RMT being the culprit go in one ear and out the other. Unless you have proof RMT is to blame, something nobody on these forums has provided in the history of ever, you're tilting at windmills.

And if group play was the problem, the economy would've been terrible in every single major update prior, even all the way back in 0.1.0. That simply was never the case. In 0.3.0, I was farming Jade Isles for Rakiata's Flow and they were worth maybe 25div. If either RMT or group play were the sole reason for the economy falling apart, it would've been worth 200+ divines in 0.3.0 like they currently are right now.

Somebody literally made a thread 2 days ago showcasing their currency gain from a single temple run.

50 divines. Per temple. Now, multiply that with all of the players engaging in this content.

This isn't normal, dude.

GGG did an amazing job for temple. Where else can you farm 6k divine and 3 mirrors drop in 3 weeks. The economy is looking great right now. Most end game items are only 500 divines or above. This is great for casual players. They should be able to get their stuff before 0.5

I'm trying really hard to get Rakiata's Flow for my build. Two nights ago, it was worth 70+ divines. Last night it was 111. I wake up to find it at 133. I understand the gem is a high demand chase item, but it never got this bad in 0.3.0.

And before someone comes in looking for a quick own and a hand wave: I understand farming for raw divs is a noob trap. I'm trying to farm Sekhema trials with Desperate Alliance relics to get Against The Darkness, but the rate I'm earning them and their value is being outpaced by the skyrocketing increase of the gem I want.

The Vaal temple is the culprit behind this, people are optimizing the fun out of the mechanic to minmax rewards, pumping out tons of currency to the point divines are actually making exalts more valuable. It needs to be nerfed.

I propose the following:

1. Make rooms destabilize at any length in a chain, remove the strategy where only the tail can be affected.

2. Any T3 rooms with rewarding loot should destabilize on completion, and can't be protected by medallions.

3. Buff Atziri and Architect chambers to be more rewarding in order to encourage people to run them.

I don't have a temple built and I have made over 200 DIV this weekend running breach and abyss.

Find a spot in the market were you can make money. Temple will be nerfed next league, but this league isn't ruined by any sense.
Seems like they want it to be this rewarding.

Idk it takes awhile to actually get it to that point of rewards

Doesn’t really see the issue myself. Especially going forward where it will require a tablet to even get the mechanic outside of this league

40 divines for a spirit gem is an issue, it's not that everyone got that temple setup, if i drop one i dont even cut it, straight to ange lol
