Yeah, said it from the beginning. Unless they drastically speed up campaign and maps, it will burn people out real quick to do the same song and dance every league. The current design feels more like it is meant for a game without leagues given how much time you can end up investing into a character each time.

Indeed and I authentically suck. I am 55 and no reflexes like the younger players and I can finish POE1 campaign in 10 to 12h. Then I can play 4 or 5 chars.

The campaign isnt seamless. Its just tedious. The campaign is like counting the number of popcorn kernels dropped on the ground at a movie theater. That isnt engaging.

There is literally no point to putting in an endgame if only the hardcore streamers and kids living in dad's basement can get there. That is a pointless waste of resources. CH4 is at least as long as the other chapters combined. With this trend act 6 should be about 15 hours alone.

I dont even feel desire to play now and a diversion while sick as hell with some virus would be nice.

For sure, I wont make endgame again.

I always run multiple characters on console.
With one console I could run in couch co-op mode and carry my second toon.
Or use two consoles and carry myself that way now too.

The campaign is tedious. It's not just tedious, the story is uninteresting. I like the characters and tone in the first game. I like how people matter to each other, like Clarrisa and Toleman, or Sin and Purity. I choke up when I see Dalia in Act 9. PoE2 has none of that, so the campaign feels really tiring, not exciting.

I like the endgame, but not a fan of the campaign. I've thought about switching to Standard, so that I don't have to do the campaign, anymore.

funny thing is the campaign in this game is so enjoyable for me I like making new chars. ive just been super busy this season so i havent had the chance to reroll in hc yet.

the progression and combat clarity feel better from act 1-early maps than early maps-endgame juice.

i felt the same even far back on d2 days though. as much as i love spamming trav hork or cz or wsk, damn if i dont love rolling a new toon into the blood moor and hearing "so it begins..."

This is speaking to a much larger problem in your life man and you need to chill out and maybe come play when its fully released man. the ironic thing is , is you hope and pray to finish the campaign , only to be hit by the reality , you can't stand 80% of the places on the atlas but you have to do them just to find the citadels....
