Fix Fire.

You may be right. But in my point of view, if ignite is the same as poe1 there would not be a problem. I just checked, poe 1 base ignite damage is 90% of the hit. In poe 2 its 20% so the way they want it is that we do a big hit to get a big ignite and poe 1 ignite can basically be a full damage source. But like you said small hit means barely no ignite and no reason to spec into it because you want to scale high damage higher in those kind of games. I dont want the game to be poe 1 dont get me wrong but 20% after mitigation is just not something worth investing in.

my real question is. Why do fire spells still have the lowest chance to crit, lowest flat damage and that flammability investment needed if ignite is gonna be 20%?

as far as i know cold and lightning does more damage so why have better ailments too. Nah ignite is just bad compared to the others i wont just accept that.

On poe ninja i checked the buids and barely none do fire damage even if its fire gems used.

I am also of the opinion that the fire spells are incredibly boring they could just change them.

I just realized that fire wall and solar orb are basically pre-mitigation hits thats why you dont need fire pen II
