meaninful combat where? Is it possible to defeat an arbiter without equipping any items?

At level 21 the gem provides 187- 281 damage scalable by all passives which would scale staff damage. This is NOT a naked run.

Please watch the video before answering. Are we playing the wrong game, or are they?

Dude this video is 100% an argument that the combat is meaningful.
The more people I see calling what that guy did meaningful, the more I get convinced the people that say that have only played PoE their entire life and nothing else.

Absolutely mind boggling.

That's exactly how boss fights should go, do mechanics, avoid damage, and do damage, what else you want from "meaningful" combat?

This is tutorial Arbiter after all, you literally have infinite number of attempts, ~3mil life is literally lower than regular map boss.

Both need to be nerfed. Ton other nerfs should be done before 0.5.0 patch comes.
Caps to DPS and end of story, otherwise you'll punish yourselfs bringing balance to a stable conditions.
Noone made a comment about party number. Playing alone is easier to kill bosses. I wanna see this guy beating the Bahlak (the Sky Seer) and Gelida-Ignatia bosses.

Hahahaha...Arbiter is a boss that don't use aura attack or lock areas besides the mechanism that can be learned easy.

They probably never did a raid in any game or fought a boss in witcher 3. I saw the video. Its a good video showcasing unarmed, but in general its not meaningful combat.

You've probably never played any games before where it's possible to do that like in any souls like. I understand that you mean that players should prepare for boss like it's his last fight and bet is dude life but common. It's not a WoW raid boss, the Witcher is a bad example because you could literally kill bosses and high tier mobs with weak character.
The showcase the exactly how meaningful combat should be, perfect dodges, perfect boss mechanic avoids, perfect combos. Dude build could only kill Arbiter and I guess the Arbiter only with this build, is that OP?
