that is a hilarious comment. It is exactly the opposite of that. The MAIN REASON most people are here are to have fun playing the various things the game offers, complete challenges, and create new characters. Currency is merely a means to an end and only has as much importance as you personally give it.

We don't play to "get currency": we get currency because that is the means to build a character. What a strange thought.


Grind is a "game mode" that people find a fun way to build a powerful character in an arpg. But the grind itself holds no meaning in a vacuum. There are very very very few players out there who play PoE only to watch the divs and mirrors in their stash fill up.....without ever using them or creating new builds. Any real enjoyer of PoE knows this intrinsically.
