Previewed Druid skills seem underpowered? help

Looking at the previewed skills they chose to show us, I can't help but think to myself the skills themselves are very underpowered (aside from the bear related skills). I myself do not want to switch from werewolf to bear to dragon to get the full damage output. I like many other people ONLY WANT TO PLAY ONE FORM.

For me its werewolf. However looking at these skills I see numbers ranging from 40% attack damage up to a measly 106% attack damage. I would assume lunar assault is the werewolf forms main spammable, but at 40% attack damage idk if its possible. 80% of that damage is cold damage so essentially I only have that 80% to scale on my main spammable attack.

Say I do 100 physical damage, well lunar assault only does 40 damage and 32 of that is cold which is what I would reasonably scale up as it is the larger portion of damage. Since theres no double dipping damage scaling that results in so very little damage.

Can others chime in please? is my math wrong, please tell me im missing something here.

got to say the druid did look kinda weak in the preview
also the shaman passive didnt receive much explanation and shows case in the preview
Furious Wellspring
No inherent loss of Rage
Regenerate 6% of your maximum Rage per second
Increases and Reductions to Mana Regeneration Rate also apply to Rage Regeneration Rate
Skills which are not Default Attacks cost +5 Rage to use
+7 Maximum Rage
i m going to start this season whit a shaman builded around this passive

as it looks right now. The werewolf will simply have one third the dps of the basic invoker monk with heavy investment might be able to get up to half the dps of an out the gate invoker monk
unfortunately I have no interest in being a spell casting druid. Maybe if I made them cast on crit soley but thats about it
Calm down. There is zero need to panic. In the inverview Jonathan said that entirety of the class in preview was numerically different from how it's going to be on release.

Apparently people who played the actual version of the druid have reported that it's actually overtuned instead.

Things in preview were just a preview, not the measurement of its power. It's doubtful the druid will be another Huntress with the terrible on-launch levelling experience.

Is this what he said?

if so, bummer.

I was hoping that more spell damage per rage was a joke and it was going to be a shapeshifting node.
GGG intentionally uses underpowered gems and gear in previews to showcase the class and the skills they did his in every class preview they did for poe2 if they use big dmg and oneshot the mobs it wouldn't be an actual preview so calm tf down and enjoy on launch
They said they will be releasing better videos of some Druid builds in action before release. So I would wait for that
everyone here is thinking im panicked from the video preview, no, not at all. I am panicked by the numbers posted for the skill gems. 40% of attack damage ranging only up to a messily 106% for werewolf or if youre a dragon 146%.

if we're lucky the werewolf might hit 100% attack damage at skill gem level 20? like that does not compare to ice strikes 227% with a third hit that converts 100% to ice damage and the whole skill in itself can scale with attack speed.

From the previewed skills the werewolf only has its moonlight beams which are on a mandatory 1 second cooldown? you can scale the damage here but not through speed, where as charged staff has no such limiter
it almost seems like GGG is trying to force people into play hybrid. Whether that is shapeshifting caster or multiple shapeshifting forms.

Not all people like those archetypes. A good amount, me included, want to play only one form.
